Wow. Personally, I felt this was one if my better stories. Yet 7 dislikes and no comments?
Is it the premise, or the execution?
Oh well...I'm still gonna move forward on this story, just so you guys know.
I have not liked or disliked this story yet.
After reading it, I can say that since it isn't a perfect display of writing prowess, you are probably going to have at least 13 Dislikes. There are 13 members of this site that go around and dislike any Human in Equestria fic they find, unless it is literary gold (in a fanfic sense that is). Don't be to upset about it.
Maybe it is because they don't get past the description, which makes it seem like this story has nothing to do with ponies.

2538253 Wish fulfillment? This isn't a wish fulfillment story. This story is probably going to be the most anti-cliché story on this site.
I've already introduced 2 human characters. A male AND a female. As far as I know, I'm the first to bring a couple to Equestria. Both of these characters lived happy, fulfilling lives. They aren't emo 'woe is I' humans. They aren't bronies either.
Not only that, but they aren't WASPs (White Anglo Saxon Protestants). My characters come from a different ethnics group, and one of them isn't even American.
There is also a reason why I described them to be so perfect. Physically they are perfect for a (What I believe to be a good) reason that will be elaborated on in future chapters.
This story is going to break a lot of rules, and it is in no way a fantasy of mine. This is a legitimate story that will address complex social norms in both human society, as well as pony society.

It's good. Aside from the odd grammar or spelling mistake scattered throughout the story, I don't see why this has so many dislikes.

lol in a speedo cuz just its a little over 100? you must live in the north. here in south texas 100+ is the daily climate and most of us still go out fully clothed and some even with sweaters/jackets. northerners are so silly and weak.

We don't wear a lot of clothes over here.

I actually enjoyed this chapter alot, and nah I don't feel like you ripped me off. Even if you didn't have it planned, borrowing ideas from other writers isn't a bad thing.
I do take extreme issue with your comparison between the bonobo and human brains, which while somewhat true, is no more so true than any other primate brain, large in comparison to other animals and such but human brains are completely unique when it comes to the animal kingdom(I've spent enough time looking at various primate skulls to know the differences, anthropology being my discipline). Modern humans have the largest proportional brain size by far amongst primates with the most unique shape as well, the closest in function and form being that of the extinct Neanderthalensis which is believed to have interbred with humans many millenia ago. No living primate has a brain which could ever be fairly compared to that of anything in our genus present(us) or past(more than a dozen others)
but, other than that issue, it is still quite good

Actually, the human brain is identical to a Bonobo's. The only real difference is that humans have a frontal lobe that has grown to extreme proportions. The way our brian fires off synapses and nuerons in our primitive brain---not the frontal lobe that controls cognitive function---is exactly like a Bonobo's brain.
If you rip out a human's frontal lobe, he/she becomes a Bonobo, at least behaviorally.

The correct German is:

One of my dads old teachers taught himself a new language every year and went to the country where it was the native tongue, I think he learned 30 something languages before he stopped. He said it became very easy to learn languages after the fifth one.

Eh, it's no problem. If anything, I'm happy that I finally got to use those three years of high school German classes, and one year of university classes in the real world. All of that effort didn't go to waste
I figured as much. Google translate is good for single words or short phrases, but it loses accuracy when it comes to full sentences. It's one of the reason I always put a warning on any story I use it in, along with a request to any that really knows the language to help fix what Google broke.
2692497 I'd like to see the literature you are pulling from to make your assumptions about the similarities between our brains, and this is not a sarcastic comment I am honestly interested in reading it to see how it bases it when every bit of peer review I have read on the subject states the uniqueness of the human brain(especially in the temporal and frontal lobes which are the two biggest parts of the human brain)

I'll see if I can find it. But just so you know, i'm not trying to say that the human brain isn't unique. It's the most unique brain on our planet. What I was saying that our primitive brain reacts the same ways that a Bonobo's brain does.
The frontal lobe, because it is so developed in humans, simply acts as an inhibitor for behavior.

I think the pony that started throwing around accusations should be banned from their scientific community, if he was so quick to jump to a conclusion and act on it.

It hardly helps pony understanding of humanity that we had nearly gone extinct over 150K years ago to ecological disaster and all the genetic timebombs of inbreeding this entails.
Genetic researches traced the lines carried by female genes back to either 1 woman or a group of closely related women. All the mutations of inbreeding gave us the worst parts of humanity. Rape and Sociopathy are unfortunately winning traits in survival on the razors edge of extinction by spreading genes or being the top dog survivor to spread genes.
All the Jack the Rippers, Charlie Mansons, and other sociopaths were often the ones to become Barbarian Kings or Evil High Priests in charge of nations throughout history simply by eliminating everyone who would say no. A quick look at Caligula, Attila the Hun, Chairman Mao, Hitler, Momar Khadaffi, and Stalin quickly show this.
I am French and I cringed. Still, I like it so far, I don't get why it's got so many dislikes.

Well I guess it's not that important, but still a little explaining would be nice, unless I just missed something.
Anyway, I'm sure this chapter was hard to write. Humans trying to explain our violent tendencies to ponies is never easy. At least your protagnist didn't come off as misanthropic bastards. They were pretty much just like, yeah some humans are fucked up, deal with it.
When are you updating this story again? I miss it
