Dragon Heart

I'm a young man with autism, and I wouldn't call myself a fan of the show, let alone a brony. I like the show, but I mostly just humor the show for the sake of my friends and little sister.

Sequels1

T

Michael Pegalos, Captain of the Blood Phoenixes Third Company, is called to the planet Tartaurus to eliminate an infestation of Hogs that have invaded the planet. But he will soon learn that darker secrets await him as the war goes on.

There are no other explanations other than it's Dawn of War cutscenes ponified. Some of the characters' names have been changed for non-plagiarizing and ponification reasons, and there might be some copyright stuff somewhere in which case belongs to their proper owners. I apologize in advance for not asking, but if you let me know I will mention it.

I'm just waiting for SSSIIIINNNDDDRRRIII!

Indeed, it is very fun. Gotta say, the amount of inherent crossover between 40k and FiM is nuts. We have a "Solar Princess" (The Emperor), the rebellion of "Luna" (Horus and the Lunar Wolves legion), the Equestrian Guard (Imperial Guard)... Yeah, I think Faust had a little 40k bouncing around in the back of her head when she was writing the premise for FiM. Hasbro and GW are pretty similar too. The main difference is, if your Games Workshop model comes with wings, it's an optional extra!

This is a pretty cool story. You're not trying for a grand epic, you're not writing a complex tale. You're taking the cutscenes from DoW I, and ponifying them. This is a good thing. Ponies must pony everything, and everypony! Plus, I'd love to see Vinyl Scratch as a Noise Marine. That does bring up an interesting question, though. Are you going to make all the Adeptus Astartes male, and if so are you gonna justify that in the story? Celestia and Luna are battle-babes, after all. Why would they limit their elite ranks to only stallions? Then again, you're not making that kind of call here. This is a strict cut and paste ponies uber alles story, and for what it is, it's great!

2148855 He'll come, but probably with a different name.:duck:

2148961 I'm glad that you like it. As for your answer...
I wanted to bring the original characters that gave the first games their popularity among the fans. But trust me, the alternate universe isn't there to just look pretty. If you've noticed, Luna is in this story. I'm grinning so hard at the thought of it,

Oh yes.
cdn.memegenerator.net/instances/250x250/15107247.jpg

But is it truly Luna, or will the Blood Phoenixes face Nightmare Moon?

2149089 AH, ah, ah. I don't want to spoil it for you. I know how you people work.

I hope the space marines stay all male it is very rare for crossovers to do that.

2149145 Is that so? Well, sorry to disappoint, but there might be some female inclusions in future chapters and stories. But for now, enjoy the story while you're not blind.:twilightsheepish:

Great job never occurred to me to look up or write a crossover for warhammer 40000

Also bubble maybe the inquisitors are the main six idk only read the first part so far.

And here I am quoting books while he is talking bout the games so never mind.

This is really good have you read any of the books? It would be cool if. you converted one of them. Such as eisenhorn. :derpytongue2:

2149362 To me, it's sad that such a great game with heart racing storylines, equally developed characters, and epic slaughter fests isn't very well known in the gaming community, save for a small few.

2149414 Afraid not. I was introduced to the WarHammer series when I was like 13 or 14. I've only played the games. But I've heard the books are just as great.:pinkiehappy:

2149167 well it's a good story I won't leave just because of that but i can imagine fluttershy shouting sindri

2154559 I deleted it because I said to mention corrections through means other than comments. I didn't mean to be offensive, I apologize.

Oh Hogz. You so funny. Even though I'm an airbrushed Imperial Guard treadhead, I have a special place in my heart for Da Orkz. Out of all the races, they have the most fun. And Squiggoths.

look on the bright side at least you computer didn't turn out to be a baneblade.

2157983

Of course not, that would have required some kind of Tactical Genius or someth-CREEEEEEED! :trollestia:

Also, Lord Fale. Lord FAIL! :rainbowlaugh:

Huh. I didn't know that. Isn't that something? Nichole Oliver voices Celestia, and also voiced the Farseer in DoW, Dark Crusade, and even Soulstorm. Anybody else thinking that Faust had 40k on her mind when she wrote up FiM? Sure there's nothing major to back that idea up, just a ton of coincidences, but c'mon.

Then again, she also voiced a lot of Barbie stuff. But we can forgive 'n' forget that. The light of the Empress purges all such heresy!

2167593 Heh heh, surprised me too.:pinkiegasp:

Lord Fale. Classic.

As for Avatars of Khaine, in the wargame I took one down with possessed and sentinels.

In DoW, Gabriel took it on with Isildor and five Tactical squads and lost.

2177573

Avatars of Khaine are nasty if they get in range. That's why the Emperor invented the Basilisk. Or, as I prefer to call 'em, the "Party Cannon"! :pinkiehappy:

took that bitch down with a dreadnought

2181855

A Venerable Dreadnaught, or a just a humble battle-brother who even in death still serves?

2186754 regular dreadnought who was in it for the bitches

Heresy! Oh, silly author, surely you know Pinkie's an avatar of Cegorach himself? The Laughing God always safeguards his most joyful servants. Consider how she can giggle at the ghostly, guffaw at the grossly, crack up at the creepy, whoop it up with the weepy, chortle at the kooky, and snortle at the spooky. Only one blessed by Cegorach himself could be so comedic. :pinkiehappy:

2199692 I suppose you're right. But still, one must be extremely careful when dealing with Discord. Even the Eldeer, Discord's most ancient enemy, are susceptible to the ruinous powers. It's been trying to corrupt me for the past four or five years, now. And I've learned how to control it to an extent, because I'm not so easily influenced.
- Stay vigilant, brother.:rainbowdetermined2:

That daemon prince met his end at the hands of four un upgraded predators, a land raider and as many squads as I could give heavy bolters to.

Whirlwinds. Probably just the Guardsman in me, but bombing the hay out of that guy from long range always put a grin on my face. If my memory serves, I'd tarpit him with Assault Termies, then bring down the Emperor's Wrath with everything else I had. Hey, this is Sindri we're talking about here. Bro deserves the best! He got all dressed up and everything, the least we can do is bust out the whole armory to greet him!

Also, if anyone out there runs a tabletop Chaos Space Marines army, are you bringing Sindri along?
images4.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20110530170235/warhammer40k/images/f/f8/Sindri_Myr_by_Sputnik127.jpg

Just watch out if he starts referring to you as "Lord Bale" behind your back.

2220262 I got me a Chainsword, a Power Sword, a Power Axe, and a Thunder Hammer to use at my disposal when faced against Chaos.:moustache:
And I've got Bolters and Plasma Guns for those pesky Psykers and Sorcerers.:trixieshiftright:

Yes, and did you know Peter New, who voices Big Mac, voiced the big mek (I think), Lee Tokar, who voices Snips, voiced Shas 'O Kais in Dark Crusade, and Scott McNeil, who voiced chieft Thunderhooves, and Flim (or Flam), voiced Davian Thule and Indrick Boreale in Dark Crusade and Soulstorm respectively?

This is good, and brings back old, glorious memories of good battles and good storytelling.

2280284 You've got keen eyes and a sharp mind. I knew all that, but your contributions are still great.
