Dear Diary Journal,
For whatever reason, Princess Twilight Sparkle, a purple ‘alicorn’ (apparently, they’re called alicorns, not unisus or pegacorn) wants us to keep a daily record of what happens from day to day in our own words. I guess that makes sense from a psychological point of view. If anything else, at least I won’t forget how to write. The princesses (despite having three princesses, they have no king or queen, yet the kingdom seems to run fairly smoothly. Well, who am I to judge, when my own country’s governmental system is so messed up?) said that they would try to figure out a spell to take us back home, but it would take awhile. One thing that reassured me, though was that there was a time difference between the worlds, partially because of magic, and partially because of gravity wells. (Since science has proven that gravity actually affects time.) I wasn’t exactly paying attention, since someone had to occupy the Cutie Mark Crusaders, which is what Sweetie Belle and her friends call themselves, to keep the castle intact.
I’m just glad that Moonstone, or ‘Moony’ as Kaye calls him, is more in charge of Kaye than I am, because her plus the CMC would have been...
Anyways, nearly ruined a mare’s life by showing up at the wrong time. Apparently mental illnesses are fairly rare in Equestria, so the princesses are actually in charge of officially discharging ponies from the hospital, since, if they weren’t joking, alicorns are apparently immortal. I don’t know to what extent, but that’s what they claim.
So Whispering Wind, who had been nicknamed Screwloose, was waiting in a side-room to be interviewed by one of the princesses to be discharged, when the CMC dragged me along into the room playing one of their games.
Poor mare thought she was going insane again, or was sick, because, and I still can’t believe it... She can understand Pokemon!
I don’t know everything, but I guess ever since she was a filly, she could see and hear some ghosts, apparently, and that had been why she had been put away, but once Luna had calmed her down, and the two of us started to ask some questions, Luna sent for Twilight. Once the mare was reassured that she wasn’t crazy, Twilight wrote down everything, recording what I said, having the mare repeat my questions word for word, before she could answer them.
It was then that I found just how... idealyc Equestria is. Wind, as she said she prefered to be called, was not just reimbursed for the time she spent in the hospital, taking medicine that she didn’t need to take, thus making her act oddly, but also practically made her a noble on the spot for helping in large strides in pony science, or something. In America, you’d be lucky if you got an apology, and less than minimum wage for the time you spent in jail for something you didn’t do.
So yeah, she came back with everyone to Ponyville, so that Twilight could attempt to figure out a translation spell, using Wind as a control. Princess Luna also decided to join everyone in Ponyville, saying that she needed to protect the town in case the crazy Pokemon from before tried to come back, but I know the real reason. Kaye is most attached to Luna. She might like me, as well as Moony, but Luna seems to be her mother figure. I don’t know what happened to Kaye in our world, but I have my suspicions.
Anyway... Ponyville. A pretty small town, surprisingly. We got a tour of the... Oh, right, we. There’s not many of us, but I can already tell that this town is going to become chaotic with us here, if it wasn’t already. There’s Cerulean, a Totodile. Meis, ironically enough, is afraid of heights, and is a Taillow. Name rings a bell, but I can’t remember from where or what. Moonstone used to be a pony, if he’s to be believed, and got turned into an Umbreon. The insane Glaceon, who still loathes the sight of me, said her name was Crystal. I... suppose I could think of some worse names.
Like Fluffy?
Brian... Shut it. Writing a journal, and I don’t need ponies thinking I’m crazy for talking to you in said journal.
So anyway... She insulted me, I ignored her, and life went on. Laughed my butt off when Kaye ninja-glomped her out of nowhere, though. That was freaking priceless!
So, Cerulean had been ‘adopted’ by Pinkie Pie, since she already had a pet alligator, apparently, so that meant she had the most experience if something went wrong, or Cerulean got sick or something. Rainbow Dash, a blue pegasus with hair to match her name, was originally going to take Meis under her wing, but when he refused to fly, Fluttershy took him instead, saying she had a lot of land-bound avions already, so Meis would fit right in. Kaye and Moonstone, it seems, at least for now, are both under the protection of Princess Luna.
Crystal is staying with some stallion who calls himself Prince Blueblood. Seems like a pompous ass. Makes him a good fit for her.
I get to stay with Sweetie Belle and Rarity, though I’m sleeping in Sweetie Belle’s room. Rarity was indecisive about allowing me to sleep on Sweetie’s bed, as apposed to getting my own basket, or... whatever, but Sweetie was able to pout her way into making/letting me be her personal teddy bear. I would be apprehensious, if she hadn’t already slept with me, and proved that she isn’t the cuddle/choke someone to death in their sleep' kind of kid, so worst case scenario, I get used as a blanket, and get drooled on.
Not worried about drool because Rarity has a freakin huge bathroom... I’m going to love it here, I’m sure.
Oh, right, I almost forgot... Not sure how to deal with Opal, Rarity’s cat. Aside from some feral cats, I’ve never had a cat not like me, so her reaction to me... well, it hurt. In more ways than one.
Overall, crazy day, but I can tell the upcoming ones are going to be even more crazy. Should be a lot of fun!
Signed,
Simply Fluffy
Dear Stupid Personal Record of My Thoughts,
Life sucks. Life will never not suck. Life will never not suck except in the possibility of life sucking so badly, it sucks itself, creating a full circle of sucking, in which I am in the middle of, and shall never escape.
Come on, I get turned into a gay Glaceon?! Ugh! Even freaking Vaporeon would have been better than that! Worst part is that a jerk of a jock got Flareon, and then insulted it! Once I’ve had a chance to train, I am kick-dropping that jerk’s ass so hard!
Still, at least I was able to ditch that stupid couple. Mare was a mess, and I know I would have killed her inside of a week if I had stayed. I should be able to focus on whipping Blueblood into shape, though not being able to talk will certainly make it a challenge. Still, if it’s worth doing, it’s worth doing right, so God help me, I will turn that mustang into a stallion!
So, long story short, after breakfast, and getting cleaned up, Twilight Sparkle... Just wow... What an unfortunate name... On the plus side, if I spend enough time here, I just might not think of that God-awful story when I hear the word Twilight...
So anyway, Twilight is a Princess, and from what I understand, only became a princess recently, where she earned wings for services rendered or something. Of course, it would be she that Blueblood has a crush on. Blueblood seems to be smart and stupid at the same time. He’s smart enough to know that she’s too good for him, but he’s stupid for not even trying to better himself, or trying to win her affection anyways! I stalked her for a few hours, and it’s fairly safe to say that she’d at least give him a chance, but after watching her interact with some of her subjects, she’s either the best actress in the world, or completely clueless when it comes to the opposite sex.
Still, not all hope is lost. They’re childhood friends, and since it doesn’t look like he’s been friend-zoned, he’s got a pretty decent chance.
But enough about the romance already! Time to talk training!
I’ve got a good exercise regimen set in place for tomorrow to find the limits of my strength and endurance in this body. I’ll figure out what need improving the most after I find out what it is I can do. I get the feeling my endurance and speed for running should still be good, but since this is a new body, it stands to reason that I should still be able to push myself further.
I’ll write what I think about the others later. Don’t know enough to form an opinion, aside from the pink Eevee that calls herself ‘Kaye’. She’s a child that acts like a child, and shall thus be treated like a child until then. If anything else, at least she shall be useful for testing my vigilance.
Until tomorrow,
Crystal
Who all is involved in that 'romance' tag?
I loved the inclusion of Screwloose (Whispering Wind) {That name doesn't really seem to fit, but I'm no Equestrian.} Getting the ponies to understand the pokemon would be quite helpful.
(And it seems Crystal is still a down in the dumps kind of girl. QUICK! GET PINKIE ON THE PHONE!)
Is it wrong that I want Fluffy to get a better name? Like Sweetie and the crusaders decide to rename him after something that forces him to show just how much firepower a Flareon packs in that cuddly body? (I would expect the topic would come up due to Scootaloo saying something about Fluffy being a girly name and he's a cool guy.)
Fluffy, you need to take care of Crystal, she seems a bit.......frustrated....

2603385 Well, so far, we have TrixieMac in the background (won't talk much about them, since no one seemed to like them.) and potential BlueLight, depending on how Crystal and Rarity do on making Blueblood up to snuff/brave enough to ask Twilight out in a manner that she actually understands that SHE'S the one he's had a crush on all these years, so...
That's all the plans I had for PONY shipping. As far as the Pokemon... Well, I don't really want to give anything away, since there's only a few of them so far, and none of them particularly like each other. (Kaye doesn't count, she's only, what, seven? That's not to say how fast or slow she may grow physically, but mentally? Yeah, she'll mostly be friend-shipping, at least for a LONG time, anyways.)
2603621 Her name will be explained better later, but in short, she could see and hear the ghosts of the Pokemon that are/were still in Equestria, but couldn't take solid(ish) form like they do in the game/anime. So Whispering Wind because she had to whisper to prevent being heard and thought crazy (didn't work, obviously) and because that's all the ghosts were, were whispers on the wind, since they kept moving around Equestria, trying to find some sort of magic or something that would let them live, be seen, etc. It'll be explored in later chapters, promise.
2603721 XD Yeah, but he wouldn't like her attitude! Crystal was the best name for her that I could think of, since, firstly, Blueblood gave it to her, second, Crystals are valuable, at least to an extent, and third, while it would be enough for ponies to see her and know that Crystal is meant to be an ice-name, it's not icy enough for Crystal to outright have the name. (Since she's more of a fire-type, if her last name didn't tip you off. XD)
2603637 and 2603749 This is more directed at Camlio, but anyways...
Is that how you guys really feel? I thought it was a pretty good fit for him, because Fluffy sounds kind of... well, childish, and Flareon acts fairly childish. Besides, I think it'll be kind of funny when they eventualy get into fights, and then Fluffy wrecks them. XD
(That, and since ponies have a tendency to name ponies after what they look like, or what their special talent is, so Fluffy, while not perfect, is good enough, at least for now. (That, and the name has kind of grown on me. ))

(Seriously, you have NO idea how hard I cracked up reading that comment. I swear I almost peed myself, and/or did a mouth and nose spit-take with the water I was/am drinking after having mown the lawn.)
2604527 I can see it now, "Fluffy the Destroyer!"
Quick question, with there be pony-pokemon relationships?
2604576 There's going to be at least one, now that I think about it, but it's more going to be a more in passing kind of thing? It might get touched on in several chapters, but for the most part, if only because of who it involves, I won't be going in-depth with it. Others... No plans, but that doesn't mean it couldn't happen.
2604527
Honestly mate, he seemed to get the short end of the naming stick what with names like Moonstone and Cerulean going round. It honestly doesn't seem to do him justice, hell you pretty much had Rarity say the SAME RUDDY THING!
So yeah, I believe Fluffy needs a name change, or at least have Fluffy be a nickname while changing his ACTUAL NAME. That way you can keep the Fluffy name while making it so the poor bastard doesn't want to strangle himself due to being known far and wide by such a girlish name. (Honestly mate, you could do better. Not to mention I couldn't see Sweetie keeping that name for him when he shows he can unleash fire and such.)
2604634 Well, keep in mind the following:
1. Moonstone was a pony-turned Pokemon (He was the acolyte from the prologue.) so he was able to tell Luna in his dreams what his real name was, and since it still fit with his Pokemon form, there was no need/reason to change it.
2. Cerulean hasn't been named by ponies yet. Cerulean is his 'real' name, just like Fluffy's is Glenn. He'll either get a ponified name that he approves of, or will have a funny nickname from pinkie Pie that everyone calls him anyway.
3. Yeah, that was back while they were still in Ponyville, though. (Rarity, I mean.)
At this point, nearly everyone already knows him as Fluffy.
Maybe I didn't explain it as well as I thought, but I had already explained his reasoning for accepting Fluffy as his 'name' when Kaye met him and called him Fluffy in the dreamscape.
That's not to say that Scootaloo and a few others couldn't have their own names for him, but, for the most part, Fluffy as his name is there to stay.
2604681
Can't question that everyone already knows him as Fluffy but, I still gotta say that the name choice doesn't exactly fit, not to mention Flareon isn't seen as childish but, EXTREMELY AGGRESSIVE. In fact of the Eeveelutions it's actually known to be the most aggressive due to and I'm quoting this.
"It's fiery temper is as easy to spark and burns as long as a wildfire, it is known to blast it's trainer with embers when given a command it doesn't agree with."
The one that's known as childish is actually Eevee or Vaporeon if you're going by the Pokedex entries.
2604556 Well then,

2604758 ... If I sound short or rude, then I apologize, but, and maybe I haven't explained this as much or as well as I thought...
The whole point of this fic is that everyone has/is turned into someone that they hate/don't like/is their opposite. I mean... Crystal would have made an AMAZING Flareon. Fluffy would have been a great Eevee, Espeon, or something else more playful, but instead he's a Flareon. Meis is terrified of heights, but he's a Taillow. You haven't noticed a trend yet? Sure, Cerulean and Kaye haven't really been explained, but you'll see why soon(ish) as to why they're a Totodile and Eevee respectively.
Just... Please realize that I DO have a plan, and that not everything is always explained right off the bat? Please?
2604817 ... And then i died laughing again... HE'S SO CUTE!
2605146
Never said I doubted you had a plan, just said the name fluffy doesn't fit a Pokemon known to be aggressive to 10 year old kids. Ten being the legal age to start Pokemon training.
Never said I didn't notice the trend of opposites though that seems to be one hell of a life lesson in the making if the fact that their personalities literally cripple their new forms capabilities to the point of making them ruddy useless if they need to fight. Setting them up for crazy quick deaths if those crazy Pokemon DO return (ALL OF TAILOW'S GOOD MOVES REQUIRE IT TO FLY is an example)
And I'm not complaining about the story, if I wanted to change it around I'd write my own. But, I'm just saying the foreshadowed plot (The Crazy Pokemon returning) is set up to involve massive amounts of fatalities mainly due to the Pokemon the people have become and their personalities are so vastly opposite it's going to have people dying just to have someone realize the ruddy lesson they need to learn.
2605295 The Crazy Pokemon... I'm afraid I need you to elaborate on that, because I'm not quite sure what you're trying to say, and I don't want to accidentally spoil when you mean something else.
Also, you act as if fighting and dying right off the bat is the only option. First, in both the game and anime, death isn't talked about that much, aside from fish Pokemon that are treated as seafood, Charmander getting its tail extinguished, stuff like that. At least for the most part, it doesn't seem like battling leads to death that often, aside from certain conditions. With as many of them as there are, do you really think that Fluffy would just stand by as another Pokemon tries to melt Crystal? Do you really think that Rarity or Twilight would tolerate a Pokemon KILLING another?
Just seems like you're kind of taking things to an extreme. Will it be hard at first? Well, YEAH... But obviously, Crystal is a fighter, Fluffy already knows at least one move, and he isn't stupid. They're all going to do things their own way, but the upcoming chapters are actually, spoilers ahead
They're all going to start training. Twilight or Luna, haven't decided which, is going to remind them that 'real' Pokemon could start appearing at any time, at which point the party starts to warn the Ponies that not all Pokemon are going to be friendly, that they could be trouble, etc. They'll all train in their own way, of course, but it's not like they're all just going to laze about and learn about the magic of friendship and stuff. They'll be getting stronger in their own ways.
Twilight passing her studies (in a way) down to the Pokemon. Ha. Anyway, great chapter man. I realize something... Fluffy and Kaye are the only ones with a name that does not (in some way) relate to the game. Cerulean= Cerulean City, Moonstone= Self explanatory, Crystal= Souls Successor of Gold and Silver. So, Fluffy should enjoy his name (at least a little) and Kaye is, so far, just Kaye.
2605975 The sad thing? None of those were intentional. XD Moonstone is a cameo from another of my fanfics, turned into a Pokemon. Cerulean is actually Cerulean1313 from here on Fimfic, and Crystal was just Crystal because it was the best ice-based name that fit her.
Fluffy accepted his name when Kaye called him Fluffy, mostly cause he has a weak spot for kids, and Kaye is... Well, Kaye. XD Kaye is likely to keep her name, because Luna already introduced her to the mane six as Kaye, and Fluffy knows her as Kaye, so she's lucky.
Hope you're enjoying the story! Sorry the chapter was on the short side, but it was either that, or drag the story on for another three or four chapters of mostly fluff, so... Yeah. Time for the training montage. XD (With plenty of antics to follow.)
For some reason I think this "Music" fits very well with this chapter. Or that's just me being me.
MagicalTrevor. I have this to say.

NEED MORE POKEMON AND PONIES!!!
2607943 ... I updated two days ago. I have a life. I'm looking for a job. Give me a break!
2609865I know. But I just love this story sooo much.
which Pokemon is Mice? I was not sure which of the bird Pokemon right now, i know them but i can´t decide which it is right now
5682121 A Tailow. None of their colorations are 100% accurate to the game for a good reason
Jeeze does Crystal ever have a chip on her shoulder... Like, that is just a whole bag of crazy I wouldn't touch with a 50' pole. I'm kind of intrigued as to why this is, but also find myself subconsciously skimming her parts from time to time.
7828592 Yeah, I... I didn't handle her as well as I should have, looking back. I don't dare rewrite, though, or I'd never make ANY progress. Speaking of which... *wanders off to get back to work*
You're really good at making characters (or at least one character) I absolutely loathe right after first contact. I refuse to read anything more about her, so skipping that second part.
9899232 Well, then you better leave now, because she's not going anywhere. Everyone has a reason for acting how they do. If I were making someone detestable just to be detestable, they'd be a throwaway character or the like. Not everyone has to be likable at the start. Life doesn't work like that.
If Jessie said in her introduction that she'd get mad if anyone called her anything but Jessie, why is she so accepting of her nickname? It reminds me of Starscribe's habit of former humans being given pony names, even though this came first.
9ting900809
... That's... Probably me being a derp and completely forgetting. In total honesty, the story didn't have much planning or focus until towards the end. It had started as an (admittedly stupid) experiment, and that made things disjointed. I honestly need to do like a huge edit, but if I did I'd just end up rewriting everything. I will go back and correct that for the story, though. That's fair.
9899232
(I know it’s been years since this comment was made, but I just have to say it)
Careful, you’re being a real Crystal right now. Hating someone on first contact? Refusing to even listen to them? Ring any bells?
