I'm willing to give this a shot as I love this series. You did a good job of putting the story together, no major typos or plot holes. As for constructive criticism, all I can say is that your sentence structure seems a bit short and choppy, maybe expand the conversations or add in more descriptive elements. I will most definitely be tracking this.

Idea pretty good; execution, slightly lacking. It was good enough, but as some others said, you would benefit from more complex sentences, as well as fixing up your grammar just a little bit more. Also, vocab. That would also be good. But, these things will probably come with time as you write more. Still, pretty good, and remember- practice makes perfect, so if you write more and update ;) then these problems should disappear!
