[One-shot] Fiddlesticks found Discord sitting on a windmill and torturing a violin. This sort of crime against good taste can't be allowed to continue, so she challenges him to a fiddle-duel. "Fire on the mountain, run boys, run/ The devil's in the house of the risin' sun..." ...and all that jazz.

Good story but I was expecting to hear a ponyfied version of The devil went down to Georgia, just one question why did she sold her soul to Luna?

At times I wondered whether the incorrect grammar in the story was due to poor writing skills or an attempt at character voice. Sometimes it seemed to work and sometimes it didn't. Either way, regardless of the grammar issue, the story was pretty awesome. c:
I laughed at the end when she's talking about the golden fiddle. I know in the show, ponies actually do know what gold is and do consider it valuable, but I like the idea of it being a foreign substance to them, because let's face it... why in Equestria would a pony need gold? They aren't greedy, hoarding creatures like humans are; they are pure and innocent enough that their economy could rely on bartering without too many complications, and gold would be as worthless to them as you make it seem to Fiddlesticks in this story. I love it. :pinkiehappy:

A little from column A, a little from column B, :twilightblush: Some phrasings where deliberate as part of the voice, such as "Maybe them stuffy Canterlot scientists were right about evolution after all," but some of my writing flaws slipped in uninvited, such as "thought/thaught" or "were/where", imma have to edit that. :facehoof:

Yup, that's about what I wanted to imply, she knows what gold is, she just didn't care.

2097739 Alright then. That's pretty cool. The story was cute. x3

2116329 Sweetness! Thanks--just thought I'd get your permission first, being my first time doing this and all:twilightblush::pinkiehappy:

My favorite type of story, one which talks about the mythological roots at the end. Awesome job!
