I didnt say anything about perk's, he just act strange for me, like everybody don't care that he is practically parasite and they are cool with this.
All I"d say is just consider how screwed up the wasteland already is. An addition of a bug-type parasite isn't very equestria-shaking. Most of them probably have already seen worse.

Now, that's interesting. Good start, promising protagonist, not goody-two-hooves and not stupid asshole. Didn't get any companions , so cliche avoided. And glad to see you remembered that after 200 years ponies will have hard time even remembering what changeling is, much less attacking one because of race. Granted, he still attacked because of his (insanely good) looks...
Btw, why didn't he changed into pony? He can't or forgot?
Have you decided to stop writing this story? If so, then why? Also, if Heart's Desire was voiced, what would he sound like?
