Noravea

T

Twilight Sparkle wakes up with 150 other Ponies on a large, grassy field. They find out that they are on a world where there are no roads, towns, bridges, or cities. The Sun and Moon rise and set on their own. The animals take care of themselves, and the clouds move on their own. Can Twilight and these 150 other Ponies survive in this new world with just whatever they were holding at their time of arrival, or will they meet their ends at the hooves of nature.

Note: All of Season 3, with the exception of the season finale, is considered canon.

Why is the dialogue italicized? It looks plain weird...

Anyhows, faved, liked, unfaved, disliked, and faved and liked again. :derpytongue2:

Thanks. My apologies about the italics. I'm used to posting on message boards where it is harder to distinguish dialogue from any other kind of text. It makes it easier for me to type the stories. I'll wait though to see for more responses to the italics before I change it.

So it begins...

Well, I'd get rid of them. It looks odd and italicized words are generally used for internal thoughts or emphasis. Double quotes and carriage returns work so long as it's not a confusing muddle of words spoken-description-more words-more description-more words. Those can be broken up into separate paragraphs. I haven't seen any of those though, so plain speech should work fine. Or you can indent - I prefer the double spacing myself.

Interesting idea so far... I shall see where this goes. The italics speech was sort of awkward to read at first, but I got used to it about halfway through.

I like this, but yeah the itallics are weired. Still, intresting premise, can't wait to see what happens next.

Alright, thanks for the comments everypony. Italics have been removed and will only be used for inner thoughts or letters/written speech within the story.

so, everyone get sent back before Equestia?

I'm not going to answer that since it will be one of the many mysteries of the story (Where are they for example). It's more complex than that though.

To the right! To the left! We will fight to death! On the edge, of the Earth. It's abrave new world. Form the last to the First!

151 ponies? I hope I don't have to read a Red and a Blue version of the story to see everything.

Sorry, couldn't resist.

is it just me or did that last paragraph have multiple chapters in between the lines and most of them had some seriously dark inclinations towards Red October
nice update

"We need to plan in case we aren't rescued!"

"Um... didn't I just say 'let's build houses and set up farmland?" :facehoof:

Red October is best pessimistic pony.

Anyhows, I liek it how we is going to start seeing us some settlement building! Tis good. Don't forget the predators! There's likely to be a pack of wolves or something around there right? A herd of ponies would look simply delicious! Also, can we expect the reasonable group of anarchists that separate from the main group to form an opposing society? Or are ponies more civilized than that?

So many questions! Gah! :raritycry: anyhows, great read!

Does Red October have a Russian accent like Sean Connery? :pinkiehappy:

I actually considered it, but decided not to. If you want to picture him talking like that feel free though.

Kill him. Kill him now. Kill him now with fire. Kill him now with fire before he becomes Stalin. KILL HIM!

By the way, you do know Zecora isn't a Ponyvillian, right? She lives in the Everfree.

Hmm, somepony actually pointed that out. It gets discussed in the next chapter a bit.

I faceplamed so hard when the OC mentioned of making foals. Really, Red... so subtle...
The premise of this story reminds me a bit of Quantum Castaways, just on a grander scale. I'm really interested to see what happens next

Thanks. Expect weekly updates if all goes well with my scheduling. This is actually just the first part of a planned trilogy I have.
