Fragezeichen

E

Being defeated by a pony was the last straw for the local Diamond Dog pack. Now Rover, Fido and Spot have been exiled from their home by their chief and father Biscuit. Now the trio must travel across a land that despises them in search of a new pack that will accept them. Will they be able to work together well enough to over come their faults? Or will the Equestrian Wildlife Rangers force them into a terrible reservation?

Is that a reference to 'The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy' i see? Very nice intro, but perhaps longer chapters are in order. Waiting for the next!

I do enjoy the scientific research structure at the beginning. I started some of my stories with diary entries as well.

4264 Yes, the Hitchhiker's guide to the Galaxy is one of my favorite books ever! I was originally going to base it on Pinkie Pie but I felt the Diamond Dogs would make a better comedy! It was short due to me being sick though.

4266 Thanks i'm glad you like it! Expect to see more soon!

"Feeding one would only mean it would follow you around, attempt to move in with you, shower you with gifts and state that you're it's soul mate and then attempt to marry you."

"It's okay you three, Fluttershy is here." She gently petted a hoof against each of their heads. "C'mon, you three must be hungry."

Oh this is gonna be good.

5170 Heh, yes, very good.

I want to hug them dawgs : I

I found an error in the scientific report at the top. You used 'sentient', rather than the scientificly correct term, 'sapient'.

See, even flies can be considered 'sentient'. It may not be that they can speak or respond, but 'sentient' is the state of being self aware. A fly can detect damage to themselves.

'Sapient', however, applies only to beings that can be considered 'wise'. Aka, they can learn from the past. Apes and monkeys have a lot of similar advantages to humans, but in thousands of years, they're still using the same techniques to get fruit, bugs ect. While in thousands of years we've gone from the invention of the wheel to space travel. It's called the Ratchet effect.

Thus, the Diamond Dogs could be considered a primitive society, with little past to learn from. Give a few hundred millions of years for them to figure out agriculture.

Whoa! Suddenly entire thing is in all italics.

31217 Thanks for the info, it's always best to be accurate and thanks to you, I'll be able to fix that in the future!

I honestly want more of this, there are never enough fics about the Diamond Dogs.

"Ponies for Organized Unification of Neutrality with Dogs"
I see what you did there.

:moustache: I really liked the research notes part, and it easily blends in with the current storyline. I also find it quite great that you pull off the D. Dogs' personalities so well. Great job! :pinkiehappy:

I am unsure if this is supposed to be a Hitchhiker's Guide parody or not.

It reads like Douglas Adams, anyway. Nice work!
