The Stalker universe... only this time, set up on Equestria.
Even after numerous years, Equestria still suffer from the results of the accident. roads are covered by dangerous anomalies, forests are inhabited by monstrous creatures... but there are also marvelous treasures to be found, trinkets with amazing proprieties called artifacts. A pony could get rich or dead real fast.
But what is this "The Zone" place that Equestria has been turned into? many consider it as a source of abhorrent and threatening dangers. others, a marvelous gift sent by the gods. some other ponies say it is an opportunity to cash out bits , and even others, consider it just their home.... But to what point are these descriptions true?

lol. just yesterday while playing Stalker Clear sky i imagined how it would be like to have a fanfic about it, since we have Transformers,Stargargate,Half Life,Fallout and what not.

yea, my intention on doing a stalker fic was because it is much better than fallout (in my opinion) and yet, nobody had done a fic about it so far... glad you like it :)
also, a friendly advice for everyone starting to play Clear Sky :
Patch it before playing. the retail version has some really nasty bugs (especially on some faction wars and crashes near the completion of the game)
Fallout is pretty decent, the fanfic is great (my opinion)

and the vodka comment is awesome also, i also wonder how it removes radiation when you get drunk.
Whenever i play Fallout, i miss the "atmosphere" feeling, that Stalker has. Fallout it's about the american "world of tommorow" from the 70's, while Stalker is the corrupted reality . I like some aspects of the game, the combat, creatures and all, but Stalker... the lore from the game compells me to play through,to find more about the zone, its inhabitants and to eventually find Strelok (a goal shared by all the games on the series). While Fallout, after i reach the max lvl, the fun factor drops severely. The fanfic about it, it is indeed amazing.

there's a line that sounds wrong to me , "“Sorry about it, Lielle… I didn’t knew”" i would say that "know" would be better?
this is progressing great, and loved some stuff like the adding of anti-rad's to vodka, can explain why it removes radiation in the game (could also be that it is already there,but the main character doesnt know it unless someone tells him? )
also find it great how you fixed some of the stupid sides of STALKER like no temporary companions (even if you join a faction they just send someone if you attack a outpost/point ,not like you and someone has a similar interest or you can hire a stalker to help you) and no Females at all (some surely would have the guts to go)

about how vodka removes radiation, the stalker wiki has provided an explanation:
"During the Chernobyl incident: It was widely believed by the plant workers and clean-up crew that alcoholic drinks, mainly vodka and red wine, can cure radiation poisoning from the body. but it really sounds silly to me. ginseng ? so i just decided to explain that vodka is used to soften the anti-rad taste and smooth the tough life on the Zone

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. has better overarching plots than Fallout. It's atmosphere tends to be the best you'll find in any game nowadays.
But when I started reading this fic, I was expecting something else. I was expecting a STANKEP crossover. Juxtaposing MLP and the movie that is based on the concept of juxtaposition. That I'd like to see.

Darn, I was so excited to see a STALKER crossover (like you, I also love that game), but then I saw it was STALKER with ponies. It seems all the crossovers I find are just the original source except all the characters are ponies. I'd love to see a crossover (like with STALKER) that still takes place in the original FiM, but have someone show up from the STALKER game. Sadly I've yet to see anything like that.

huh, this is awesomely written. It reminds me of a metro 2033/borderlands sort of environment. I know this is supposed to be about stalker but I can't help it with the whole grim environment and the 'artifacts'. Anyway you've earned yourself a tracker and possibly a favorite now moar good sir!

95342, thanks. it means a LOT to me. being my 1st story, this one takes special effort and pride as well... even though i will probably never be able to write something as immersive as the game itself, it makes me happy to believe that all my fanfic reading has led my writing skills somewhere.
ah, as a sidenote, if you haven't, i heavly suggest you to play the game itself, at very least the first one (shadow of chernobyl) the most immersive and, in my opinion, the best one of the series (the other two are good too, but the 1st one is best) which has it's very own, very particular melancholic atmosphere that you enter right from the title screen.

Well well well, my dear friends who still, in spite of everything on my behalf, are accompanying this story, I finally present you my latest chapter. I guess this is the part where I overly apologize for being tardy and everything... can't really help it, It's hard enough as it is to squeeze something worthy from my creative juices, as any of you who writes understands. So, anyways... seeing my writing so far, I get the impression that I am improving... as in, I am sucking slightly less than in those imemoriable times where I had no clue on how to put words into a proper story (as in,the early chapters of this very story.) Even though, I decided that I won't rewrite them as to avoid any story arch inconsistencies that might come to bite me in later chapters. Hmm, that pretty much wraps it up, my friends... enjoy.
