I think this was a nice little story.
What I liked most about it was their confusion -- It was nice to see kids who actually, you know, thought like kids. The whole "I have no idea what I like yet because I'm a kid" idea was a nice break from the kind of romance-y stuff you usually see in fic. Good job!
Well, that was... mature. Really, I don't think I've seen this handled in quite a realistic way before. Very well done, a nice take on the whole Scootaloo and Rainbow Dash thing. Plus, it fits pretty comfortably into canon. Fantastic job.
