Well I'm trying to not get anywhere near dark or sad but depending on how the story goes I may have to make some changes.
Wow. I only read the description and I have a few issues, though I am respectful and will not dislike it, but I will still say my piece.
Discord is not a villain, he's an antagonist, there is a very noticeable difference. A villain is evil. Although Discord caused problems, he did not do it without good reason and a good defense. Discord created chaos, meaning he made things different from what they normally are, and for that, he is labelled as 'evil'. If this is true, then that implies that Princess Celestia and everypony else sees change and difference as bad things.
Discord played fair, was a good sport, and hardly lied at all. I can explain if you like.
So why does everyone think Discord is evil? Just because Princess Celestia said so? Well, if you enjoy being sheep who will listen to someone's claims just because they are a good guy (even if said claims have no proof or solid supporting evidence), I guess I can't stop you.

I appreciate your comment and agree with you 100% that Discord is an antagonist. For my story however, I needed a villain that wants to see the world completely his/her's or to see it completely destroyed from its sane sense. And because this is a "fanfiction" website, I decided to change Discord from an antagonist to 100% villain. This was the only way, in my mind, for the story to progress.
Once again I thank you for your comment, honest opinion and your respect as a writer.

2019727 Yes, I know it's common in fan fiction to change a characters attitude a little to make your story fit better and I understand completely, but I just never imagine Discord being evil, just wanting things his way and to have fun. Although I must say, he is a little too arrogant, which is why he was stopped. He just assumed that since the Elements of Harmony didn't work the first time, then they wouldn't work a second time. If he was a bit more cautious and teleported away rather than just sitting there, the Elements wouldn't have worked because they wouldn't have caught him. In the end, he was his own downfall because he never thought that he could be beaten.
2019727 amen to that, turning Discord from antagonist into 100% villain, seriously, when i heard about the episode in which Discord became good, it was quiet a shock for me, so it is always nice to read stories in which Discord is, evil, a villain, or at least still like he was before, and seriously, if im ever going to write a fic with Discord, believe me when i say that he will be evil, etc.etc. hope to see next chapter soon.
