And there you have it, fortunately before my birthday.
Seems to me things are finally getting interesting in the third degree.
As for the beat Vinyl used, take your favorite song Scratch aka any musician using her image threw at us and turn up the volume by 200 dB and you might get an idea how LOUD that bass cannon was.
This worked for me:
Lots of references in here as well, hope you like it and the little background story of the Williams family. Next chapter will clearify some answers with even more background story.
You are in a 10 by 10 corridoor, facing a horde of armed enemies and a heavy locked door.
Do you.
Run.
Attract.
Charge.
Fireball.
Something very unplesant is oozing around in Tylers head, like the worm hack he used on the old mainframes? But, who is good enough to get in there and point it out to him so he can take it on on his own ground?
If Mr FBI man fonds the connection, or even manages to get new tech on it and tracks it, what sort of spanner in the works would this be, crippling the rangers by going after Tyler, or throwing the Darkness Sisters off by new and unknown element, or are they already planning on this, with agenst on Earth?
What Tyler really needs is for Agent Murphy to turn up.

You will never guess who is behind Tyler's change of character.
Like I stated in my blog, this problem will climax at the end of the book and will take some of Book Three. Neither curse nor blessing...
You know, I can't help but feel that the names "Rick Marshal" and "Ben Miller" sounds too familiar to me, including all other human's names. They sound to me like they are from one of those crime-drama shows i've watched. Care to tell me which one of those shows could be, please?
I just need an answer due to the fact that it's bugging me a lot for a while reading the series.

Rick Marshal shares his family name with Flynn Marshal, since they're brothers, Rick being the older one. Ben Miller was just picked randomly. I tried to take a normal everyday name, since Miller isn't that much of importance. Rick on the other hand, might be in the upcoming chapters and will be in for quite some surprises.
I don't watch crime drama shows, so I can't help you with that familiar feeling of yours, I just picked a name or two and tried my best.

So they are just names you chose from heart, huh?
At one time, i did a Google search on one of the names, and found one Rachel Higgins with a Facebook profile, just so you know.

Heh... I was once doing a search for Tyler Jones. I found several.
But Tyler Jones, as stated as before, was a name I originally chose for a whole different story for a work with a co-author. A story that was never started. Shame, all the nice worldbuilding going to waste.

Is your true name by any chance Tyler Jones? From what I've been reading from other fan fictions, most authors use their names so they can feel they are in their stories.
If not, don't tell me your true name. Wouldn't want spammers find you or anything.

Nah, my parents came up with another name for me and I wouldn't like my persona in any fiction at all. I see no purpose in asking myself in the question: "What would I do?" Far more interesting is the question: "What would this artificial person do?"
Playing with possible outcomes is far more relaxing if you know your character is someone else. This also means that I can jump over the character's shadow and make him or her fail in something. If one writes about oneself, one tends to make the own character better and glorifies a bit to a lot to stand in a better light. Thus, writing about some artificial guy makes you more honest about him if you do it right.

True that.
Wow, very Starship Troopers of you.
While being unkind and have their heart hardened and corrupted is bad....playing white knight is foolish.......you cannot save everyone...and treating your enemies like how batman treat his is foolish for this is not the type of criminal that can be redeemed. They will continue to destroy and kill as long as they are alive....Why none of them get this?
This is war time people! Not some satuday villain in cartoon. (Sure you probably must follow the Geneva convention rulez or something to keep from going to deep but this kind of white knight is foolish)
DEATH TO THE DESCENDANTS!
Yup you just fucked up. Nice Taken reference ...
Why spare any of the Descendants of Tacitus? They are sociopathic murderers. Just kill them all. Why hold back? There is no good point to letting them live. They don't care about the lives of others, they don't even try diplomacy, they murder wantonly and with absolutely no remorse. They are all evil. Just kill them all and be done with it.

Well, since the mane six are heroes in the classical way, they won't stand for slaughter of bad guys. And they would fight for Tyler's humanity, even when he's an antihero at times, he's still their friend. Begs the question what is good and just and what is as evil as the Descendants themselves. That's the real fight for Tyler: Protecting what he loves and holds dear while still maintaining his humanity.
