Some ponies don't like to stay dead...and our protagonist here proves it...
5 years after a failed attempt at robbing a high security bank within Manehatten, his hat, displayed once in a museum, is stolen, and seconds afterwards taken by a large gust of wind towards, yours truly, Ponyville. Now, with the strange new chance at life that was thrown at him, he has the ability to right his wrongs of his past life, and make a new one for himself...the only problem is that he doesn't remember his real identity, or how he even got his new life to begin with...
Now stuck in a confused state in an attempt to find out as much as he can, he finds out that first of all, he is a she and second of all, she isn't exactly who she thinks she is...
(Okay this is like for sure canceled but it's not dead. I'll let you know what I mean when I do the thing I wanna do)

No, not what I was intending to do, really. Although that the episode has the hat version instead of the shoes, it was not meant to be that way at all. You see, both Applejack and the mob boss that was in the hat had amnesia, so they don't remember anything in the story...and that doesn't relate to the story "Dead man's shoes" whatsoever. And secondly, Applejack is not wearing the hat at all, yet she's still under control by the mob boss's soul, who just cozied up beside her soul and had a couple of wines, which explains another reason why this has little relation to "Dead man's shoes" and which I guess is why neither one tried to fight each other's soul at the time. So yeah, I just explained a lot of things because you mixed up my story with another story that isn't even fanfiction....

Sorry, I wasn't very clear. What I meant by that comment was "is this where you got the idea?" It reminded me a lot of it. I didn't get it "mixed up", I was just comparing how they were kinda similar.
