S'up, folks! I do pony fic for fun, and I hope you enjoy it! Give me a shout on Twitter @DMDash71 if ya feel like it!

E

When their clubhouse is damaged in a storm, the Cutie Mark Crusaders set out to earn enough money so they can fix up the damage. Work is tough, however, and they aren't always suited to the task at hand. Patience isn't their strong suit, either, and it remains to be seen if the trio can hang tough and achieve a goal that seems almost as elusive as their cutie marks.

Stuff like this is always awesome... if well written. And this fits the bill.

Thank you! I appreciate it. Writing for the little fillies is tough, I'm doing my best to keep it honest. :)

Stop making Scootaloo homeless. Other than that I love where the story is going.

Hm, I'm having a lot of trouble really keeping much interest on this story. The problem is that it's a slice-of-life fic about the CMC, but when I think of the CMC I always think of comedy and Loony Tunes antics. Basically what I mean is that I'm finding this story pretty boring at the moment because it isn't even trying to be funny. Come on, they're the CMC, masters of fillyhood mischief, and you don't even have a bit of slapstick thrown in here or there? I know it's not supposed to be a comedy, but how can you make a CMC story without at least some humor (unless you're making an action, horror, or clopfic, in which case it's more understandable that you would want to keep out the comic relief)?

Fair enough, and I understand your complaint.

In my defense, part four is as "heavy" as I'm going to get. Kids take things seriously that adults don't waste much time mulling over, and I really am trying to come at this from their viewpoint. If you don't like my interpretation, I do apologize, and I hope it doesn't put you off from finishing the rest of the story.

And no, it's not horror, or anything to squick somebody out; I wouldn't do that to the CMC. There's plenty of fun stuff ahead, I swear. :scootangel:

For now I've stopped following it but also favorited it so I can easily find it in the likely event that I change my mind. I do that a lot when I start having too many unread stories on my tracking list.

I think I know what Rarity will let them help her with

You have a lovely writing style, and I'm looking forward to seeing the continuation of this story.

Thank you, that's kind of you to say; I'm glad you like it. :) I haven't forgotten this story by any means, my job's just put a crimp in the time I had available when I started this. I hope to have some more of it uploaded this weekend!

This was a nice little tale, incomplete as it is, it was light and sort of snackable with fresh dialogue and good pacing for all your perish needs.

Well, I'll be. I was pretty sure this wouldn't ever update again (No offense) I'm glad it did though. It was a very pleasant read.

Thank you for sticking with it! I'm sorry it took so long...life kinda got in the way of a lot of things for me this year. Not in a bad way, just...in the way.

You won't have to wait as long for the rest of it, I swear.

Glad to see it updated again.
