A night of friendly catching up between Twilight Sparkle and her mentor Princess Celestia becomes a look into the past for them both as Celestia recounts her trouble history and her rise from the freak daughter of a simple earth pony to becoming Princess of Equestria.

Hm, intriguing. However, just a protip to remember: Quotes, unless ending a sentence, should end with a comma.

Like this:

"Well, come on then, Twilight," Celestia said.

And this:

Celestia turned to Twilight with a sad smile, and asked her an armor piercing question. "But am I your enemy? That's what remains to be seen."

^
That is fine to end with a period, because it ends a sentence.

Huh, so I guess Luna is a half-sister?
I remember reading this chapter before. Good stuff. And also, feels were felt.

Anyway, looking forward to this fairly unique take on Celestia's origins.

I remember reading this a while back and was really interested in what happens, now even more so.Cant wait to see what happens next.In time of yore sholdnt they be speaking like luna personnaly i rather they not, so its just nit picking.

They're speaking the way that they are because it's easier for Twilight to hear (and the readers to read)

I gather your taking the approach that Celestia/Luna are sisters of Fate, destiny or some such, and not literal sisters, or half-sisters in this case?
