Love,
Tomorrow’s the day. After lunch, I heard a knock at my door. Without waiting for an answer, Rainbow Dash walked into my room. She sat down in the chair next to me and stared at the ceiling. Typical Rainbow, not knowing what to say. After a short while she stood up and walked up to me, gazing into my eyes. I think it would be for the best to just quote her.
“Damn, I forgot how beautiful your eyes are. Now hold up, don’t say anything. I’m just here to tell you; tomorrow is the end, you’ll be dead before the day is over. You should say your goodbyes. I wish I had something profound to say, but I really don’t. See ya, I guess.”
When I blinked, she was gone. I rang for the nurse and asked her to gather my friends. Within an hour they were all gathered in my room. I told them that the world was ready for me to pass on, all that was needed now was for them to be ready. They began to argue, but they knew that I understood it more than they. One by one they said their farewells, none of them got through it without losing their composure.
Once they left I had the solitude of silence. My head is killing me, but that’s only a small annoyance that will soon come to an end. I guess it’s over. I will soon know where the path of loss leads. See you soon.
Hopefully.
2956663 Oh, sorry, I think that was my fault, I misclicked publish when trying to click edit. Herp derp, but it's up now.
2956780 epilogue please
AN epilogue would be nice, but kinda ruins the dark tag. Without the epilogue, it leaves you with a painful wondering of if she makes it to the afterworld, if there is one. With an epilogue, that wondering is gone. It's a decision.
alright, not sure what happened but this never showed up in my updates, so I had to find in manually. Anyway, with that little tid bit of into, I think an epilogue would be nice. perhaps explaining whether the Dash she saw was actually Rainbow communicating with her with knowledge from beyond the mortal realm, or simply her mind's way of telling her that it was over. either way, a nice little epilogue would explain that, along with answering so many questions. another thing an epilogue would provide would be, possibly and depending on the path you take with it, Rainbow's reaction to Twilight' decision. That would be interesting to hear. Either way, and no matter what you choose to do with it, my vote is for an epilogue.
ye gods. this has been quite the emotional sorrow fest. i would personally like an epilogue. though as Twilicorn said it may ruin the dark tag but it would give everything closure. closure is good. but thats just my opinion.
Why don't you make a secondary ending instead of an epilogue?
Oh ye gods the feels that tugged at me. Great story glad I decided to give it a look
oh and epilogue would be cool, but if not thats cool too
Oh, forgot to comment didn't I? I'd like to see the epilogue myself. I like to know what happens.
Definitely doesn't need an epilogue.
i think this should get a epilogue, show that they met up in the after life.
