Just about the best Christmas surprise I could ask for! Seriously, I've hardly ever, if at all, come across an author of any stripe who does intimacy and affection as well as you do, Callisto. Many people write ponies, many people write naughty ponies, but you're the best out of the heaps I've seen at making it real. Any story or drabble you write becomes something for me to cherish within this fandom. Thank you so much, you wonderful genius wordsmith you. And merry Christmas, too.

That's mostly true. Still, the belief that being cold will give a cold is widespread, Applejack could definitely be thought to believe suchly. Rainbow could also have been very hypothermic, making her susceptible to infection. Lastly, it is true that colds are generally more contagious before fulminant onset, but it does not mean transmission of pathogens is impossible (the coughing and sneezing is an excellent way for aerosol spread of viruses.)
I think the most important thing to remember is for not to try this at home, kids. When you're sick, you're sick, and should rest. Not have too much sex! (but if you're farmpony and wingpony, sex is never bad!

And yes, the the universe was so inspired by your drawing that it made Rat sick which made him request this story...and then it made me sick by the time I was ready to post it. I KNEW from the second I received the prompt for the story that one of the first complaints was going to be about the whole "getting sick from the cold/passing it to someone else" thing. I grew up my whole life with people immediately jumping on my statement (even if I was just quoting someone) if something like that was stated. BUT first point to V, AND it can also be assumed that AJ and RD spend a lot of time together and AJ could very well have caught the cold from RD beforehand....
...and I like fetishy...what's wrong with feitshy? =( Not that I don't like "romantic", just prefer it in longer stories rather than as a one-shot.

Just that this one not being so is nice since many erotica authors tend to let their stories be fetish fodder instead of stories and characters become their fetishes instead of their fetishes being a part of their characterization. Between your 2 stories you've proven to avoid both of those pitfalls.

That got me a little hot under the bridle. I must saw, is this related to Stuck somehow? Although AppleDash is likely the most common shipping, it's never hinted at outside of a friendly rivalry. In this fic, they're a couple, if not yet going steady. Where did this relationship come from?
2533146 It was requested. Think of it as in medias res - it wouldn't have worked if it were their first time with the familiarity asked from the requester. Either that, or it would have had to have been a lot longer than I felt like writing at the time. It's a stand alone, but I would be lying if I didn't say Stuck was in the back of my mind when writing it, so I'm not opposed to people thinking that it's related to the story.
Really, this story is written with the assumption that you accept them as a couple, so you can take whatever beginning story you have in mind for them - Stuck included.
