Considering she has a sample of his DNA, Lyra should have no trouble conjuring Jack again with or without a lunar eclipse should she so choose. Deeper understanding of the magic involved may yield a way to bind him to Equestria permanently should he so wish. I'd be interested in seeing if they make a relationship work despite all the inherent problems.

Being summoned at will by a horny (Ha!) unicorn might seem like fun, at first. Vanishing abruptly in front of people leaving empty clothes behind, only to return later, disheveled, naked, and possibly reeking of mares... it could ruin the whole family Thanksgiving dinner.
