Why Me? The Story Of How Pastel Unicorns Upset My Personal Harmony

They say that virtue is it's own reward, that it's good to help others out without expecting anything in return.

I can safely say that is officially bull crap. Now every week, I've got to deal with more of these unicorns coming in and making my life a sugar coated wreck.

(Written as an exercise to reinvigorate my writing juices for my other story, but I hope you enjoy.)

Sorry, but one little detail just ruined the entire start for me: Who the hell does not at least like Egg Salad Sandwiches? They're so plain that it's nearly impossible to really form an opinion on one. It's like you're taking a bite from warm water. They're the most "Okay" of sandwiches.

All and all it's a good start and I can feel that this is going places.

That's something I based on myself. I just can't stand egg salad. I like eggs fine other ways: scrambled, hard & soft boiled, sunny side, etc, but for whatever reason, I don't like egg salad.

I just went with the most unpleasant sandwich I could think of that I could get from a gas station or liquor store and that was it.
