I love the new take on the duo, and now looking back at the original stories, I find it astonishing how close that interpretation really is. Although it did feature too many gratuitous explosions, heh.

805456 Hmm, I'm afraid I was just fixing up a stray spelling mistake I found. As for new chapters -- I kinda do wanna work on this story some more, feeling especially inspired after watching the BBC series recently! The thing is, writing funny is hard, writing solid mystery is even harder, and it takes a fair amount of time and planning to keep your plot from going boom (that's why you see so many shipping stories in the fandom. Those are extremely easy to plot.) The case I had planned out for the duo wasn't working out as well as I hoped!
I think I'll try and think of something new, though. I really feel like continuing this story, since it's a bit more light-hearted than my other, more serious fare.
I see. That's all the more reasons to look forward to updates, though, because as you rightly note, there is way too much shipping offered. So anything new and refreshing will be appreciated.
