This story is a sequel to Like Sisters
Sequel to "Technicolor Dreams" and "Like Sisters". Rainbow Dash has adopted Scootaloo as her little sister, getting her out of the horrible orphanage she had been in. However, her efforts to keep Scootaloo with her are far from over. She will have to work very hard to make sure Scootaloo gets everything she needs.
Meanwhile, other events are happening behind the scenes, as Rainbow Dash's actions start a chain of events that could lead all of Equestria to an unknown destiny, as truths of its past are finally revealed...from the lips of the only one to have been there since the very beginning, who is anything but what he seems.

Actually, they have very much to do with each other.
In "Technicolor Dreams" it's revealed that Rainbow Dash is adopted (which she knows) and Soarin and Spitfire are her birth parents (which she doesn't know). Those two things are going to have a rather major effect on the flow of this story.

The system's a bit more complicated than that, but at the same time much more simple. I won't go into full details, but the way the system currently is set up, if Rainbow is absent from home for two weeks straight and isn't bringing in any more money (since worker's comp would come in one sum like a paycheck) and her savings drop below what's considered a danger level (which they will based on standard expenses) during her first year as a guardian (the probationary period), then she'll be deemed unfit as a guardian to Scootaloo. Niether is mine. Mine is about rising up against those horros with a bad ass dud who isn't afraid of anything. He fights to reveal what goes on in the facotry taking out all horrors along the way. (Rainbow dash and scootaloo are in this and he does come across both) and unlike most horror stories this one will have a happy ending. May not be Rainbows and Butterflys but it will be happier than most Dark stories. Give it a try. It is mostly about action and eventually scootaloo and RD. also there is some gore but not really in a horrific way just in more of the stallion riping apart the evil workers.
