If you do, I'd love to see the finished project. I was sad enough reading it the first time, I didn't wanna make myself cry by fully fleshing it out.
I get the feeling some people aren't going to get the fact this is suppose to be morbidly disturbing. I mean, Dark tag is on it for a reason. Disliking because of squick is fairly innane.
This would be an interesting concept to flesh out in a full length story. Gave me goosebumps. There's really only snippets but your imagination can fill in the rest of the drama, I think that's what makes this good, not the shock value, it's the simplicity that LENDS itself to the audience filling in the gaps for the author.

I quite agree with you, sir. I myself almost cried reading it the first time. I could flesh it out, yes, but I don't want to. Not right now. In fact, I'd be interested in seeing how some authors, like Luna Eclipse, would flesh it out themselves.

I didn't see this as titillating. On the contrary, I saw it as a psychological sort of stream-of-consciousness writing experiment. It's rough, for course. I suppose a lot of people will say objectively that it's poorly written. But I like it-- though I suppose it's difficult to explain exactly why. Anyways, have a happy Twilight:

Chillingly touching, if that makes any sense. Agreed - not wincest at all, but it's not supposed to be. It's supposed to be a more realistic portrayal of how it'd work out, painful as that may be to read. Seeing it fleshed out could be pretty interesting... but I'm not sure if the ol' feels could take it.
Just getting Twi's side might be even worse.

THANK YOU! You understand it perfectly. And have the same reaction I did. No, it's not sexy, but it touches the heart. It makes you feel pain, and for me, anger. I didn't flesh it out more because of two reasons. One, my heart wouldn't handle it, even if I allowed the darker parts of my mind free reign. Two, this leaves so much to the imagination, and it leaves so much for others to read and improve, even write their own version. Even if that includes a heartwrenching delve into the reaction of dear Twily.

I think the worst part is that I really don't know how Twi would react - would she recognize it, at least clinically, as abuse, or come around to believe that it *was* somehow at least almost appropriate? Shining seems to realize, at the end there, that it's not right, even if he can't stop himself, but would Twi be able to process it that way?
Of course, however distressed Twi can be, I don't know that I'd say she's the sort who'd be able to keep the secret so well... though it could explain her jealousy and possessiveness towards Shining. I could see it in parts, but not sure if I could see her as having taken it badly.
Fluttershy, on the other hand, is almost a textbook case of an abuse victim.

Holy shit, this is what good Dark looks like. You can tell that Shining really loves his sister, but can't stop himself. That's terrifying for them both. I can only try to imagine everything poor Twiley feels.
This isn't very well-written, but I don't think it needs to be. For the format it's presented in, it's almost perfect. There's a bunch of points where you have lowercase L's instead of I's for some reason; that's the only major flaw.
