This is the story of Sour Grapes, a literate, snarky, anti-social unicorn who lives on a Vineyard close to Sweet Apple Acres. Her life, times, interactions with various cast members, and eventually falling head-over-hooves for someone.
Alternate Universe, because this was started well before the whole: "All three seasons happened in one year" thing. Honestly I don't believe that all of that could have happened in the course of a single year, anyway. Though it would explain how the ponies be crazy, sometimes.

Well just found this story and read all the chapters, I must say this is a really interesting story with fairly fleshed out characters. Especially like Earshot and that this is (if it even is) a slow burn romance. Watch your grammar, nothing major but i do notice a few mistakes here and there. Otherwise looking forward to the next chapter.

Well it wasn't JUST for him eating her roses.
We kinda forgot to include the vital information that his timing couldn't have been worse. It was the day before the Royal Equestria Flower and Garden Show ( think the MLP:FIM version of the real-world Hampton Court Palace Flower Show) where she was to show off the new Roses that she had perfected over a thousand years of careful gardening.
And suddenly she found her hard work had become somepony's mid-day snack, and had no time to grow new ones.
Guess she overreacted but of course we all have "That Button" that can make us suddenly blow our stack.
Of course if you wanna get technical, "Vandalism" of royal property on Palace grounds could be concidered treason.
The young dragon put the scroll back into the drawer and went to a closet near the door and opened it up, revealing it was pigeon-holed and full of modest-sized satchels with little tags hanging from them. He stood on a stool and read them off. "Oh Twilight is pretty prepared for a lot of different events. In case she has to run out the door at a moment's notice she can just grab and go. Twenty-seven... twenty seven.... Let's see... Kit Fourteen: Sudden Meteor Shower observation kit... Kit Thirty One: Celestia summoned you to the castle for an important spell... Kit Twenty Five: Rainbow Dash has fallen down the well... AHA! Kit Number Twenty-Seven: In case of Severe Magical Exhaustion and staying at a friend's house during recovery. See attached note." Yep. Aero Dancing is the Pegasus analogue to Ballet. Stormy as a foal was a walking disaster, his oversized wings often getting him into trouble, so his mother had him take lessons to make him a little more graceful. Fortunately for all involved he loved it and it worked.

I hope Mr. Rich will be open minded with Ear Shot I really do. A lot of stories I've read so far have him being rude, very snobbish and other things. The show really doesn't portray him as such though. So I'm hoping Filthy Rich is going to be portrayed nicely in this story... and that he give his brat of a Daughter a talking to.
