I trust there will be a chapter for each creature? I always wanted to see a Golem, it assaulting somepony 'or something of the sort' and its runes being wiped, new owners etc... relations ensue...

Oh ho ho ho ho... I actually am a big fan of snakes (I own two myself), and Lamias too. A Lamia could be quite fun, though I'm not exactly sure who to pair it up with.

Twilight Sparkle and the Lamia? You know, since Twilight is afraid of snakes and whatnot. It could work.
My word, that was a fun walk. Great critter to pair with Fluttershy. I see Zecora as having a pivotal role in this story, and I'm sure she's had to deal,with her fair share of monstrous malevolence in the Forest. Excellent chapter, looking forward to next encounter.

That's not bad. That's not bad at all...
a monster for pinkie pie, hmmmmm. OH! what about the monster that can change to look like anypony(not a changling, it usually looks like a person(or pony in this case)but completely devoid of any defining features and its completely white)? she could find it in her bed or playing with the cake twins while it looks exactly like her, then she could take it into the kitchen to help her bake or something but instead it proceeds to fuck her with a mixture of sweets and natural ability. you could even have it develop a, uh, stallion 'part' the size of big macintosh and use that too. is it weird that i came up with that in less than a minute?

Wich one of the Mane Six gets Company in the Next Chapter?
I'm gonna go out on a limb and say the pranking pixie-like monster pony will be for Dash? I like the idea of a Present-shaped Mimic for Pinkie (the ultimate Surprise! YAY!) Applejack, I can see with a Honeybee type of monster, which would benefit her trees, or a Giant Ant which could work on the farm, starting a new colony with the Apples (in more ways than one). When it comes to Twilight, there are only two monsters I can think of in terms of magical equal, or one for her scientific curiosity. The first two are the Inari, which has great control over the magical power it develops after mating with its intended, or the Sphinx, who has both mystical might and intelligence and becomes smitten with anyone who answers her riddles. Or, there is the Golem, who loyally serves her master, which is identified by the runes on her shoulder.

For Pinkie Pie, I think some kind of Cotton Candy monster.
Tykes would work for Pinkie. They would probably see her as fun, and I bet they would faint long before Pinkie does.
And I can't help but think that Twilight should be paired with a Lamia. Help her get over her fear of snakes quite well.

A Mimic in the shape of a present instead of a treasure chest? I like.
I'd almost say a mermare/seapony for Applejack, just because she'd made experiences with them in the past, but I couldn't think of a proper way bringing one to Sweet Apple Acres. However, I believe Tykes would be funny for Twilight, messing up her library and causing havoc, the mischievous little things.
