And then everything sexual happened.

I.... wut... :rainbowhuh:
Welp, not bad for a random chuckle. Enjoyed this.

now I wanna know what happened to get that law created in the first place!

What.

Seriously, that's the extent of my thought processes right now.

I loved it. I simply loved it. The writing held on with enough variety in diction to remain interesting. The suspense was palpable throughout the read. The characterizations were spot-on and hilariously entertaining. The adorableness, the clumsiness, the humor...ALL OF IT! Thanks for the fine read, my friend. I was expecting a well-executed punch line for the end, and you delivered.

Hoping this gets featured. :)
:scootangel:

dat build up, dat execution

Awesome.
I think there should be a story that explains the history of that law.

.... they aren't screamers.... anymore

What's with all hat shit about RD being in the military :rainbowhuh:
Funny none-the-less :rainbowlaugh:

Nonetheless, great story even though I had no fucking clue what was going on.

Comedy: 8/10

Was expecting a bait and switch with the question being something totally innocent.

This was unexpected. And refreshing.

1809567 Oh you poor soul stay innocent and gold forever, ponyboy.

Excellent. Several chuckles were had

>>Cyenwolf I am a girl don t worry its happened in public plus this is 2 funny ha ha I 4 give u

Y'know, there is nothing about your story collection I love so much as the effect it has on me when I'm feeling not-terribly-great. It's like a magical elixir of emotional health.

Generally speaking I loved this, though I did have a couple issues with character voices. 'Rares' and 'Flutters' felt a little odd to me, and I can't really imagine Pinkie using a construction like, "Call me a skeptic, but..." I know, artistic license and all, but those bits did feel a little jarring to me in what was otherwise some great characterization. The narrative voice on Pinkie's section was particularly enjoyable, especially after the fourth wall started to crumble.

Which, by the way, was ~awesome~.

Reactions from Rarity and AJ were servicable, but Fluttershy, Pinkie, and Twilight were definitely the highlights to me. I adored Fluttershy passing out. Twitching, overwrought ponies are the best. I'll unabashedly admit I've gone that route myself. And Twilight was very, very... um, Twilish? Fun to see her being much more of a bookworm researcher, more interested in actually answering Rainbow's question than evaluating its worth.

Also, +5 for dreaming up new uses for the Royal Canterlot Voice. Excellent stuff, all around.

Hundredth like/dislike! Congratulations! and you're welcome

So, uh, this was great. You're definitely one of the better writers on this site, judging by the couple of your stories I've read so far  Now off to read your other stories! :yay:

Pffft, ahahahahaha! :rainbowlaugh:

Well I never. :rainbowlaugh: This is one of those comedic twist mysteries, and reminds me of "The Regalia". I like the form, even though it loses much of it's punch on subsequent readings. After all, I rarely re-read things I've read.

So does Sugarcube Corner get its torte from The Merovingian? :trixieshiftright: Maybe Pinkie Pie is responsible for that deal. I was a bit disappointed by her descent into script gags even as I was simultaneously happy with her uniquely Pinkie response to The Question.

It intrigues me that there would be a law specifically written for just such an occasion. It suggests that the action it was designed to prevent had actually occurred at some point, enough that some legislators felt the need to write a law for it. :rainbowhuh:

I don't have much else to say. I usually avoid stories tagged "random", because it seems to be code for "bunch of inexplicably weird stuff happens because the author said so" and this is pretty much the case here, but it's funny and the "random" is pretty much limited to The Question itself. I laughed, so, you win. :raritywink:

I think the use of random depends a lot on authorial quality, myself. I suspect I'd have a fairly similar reaction to a [Random]-tagged story by an unknown author – but then again, I really don't read much by authors I don't already know, unless I see it coming highly recommended, I encounter it on the Top Rated lists, or I see it racking up a better than 50-to-1 upvote / downvote ratio. Anyway, my point being that (for me, anyway) if it's by an author whose abilities I trust (like our wonderful host), I usually let that trump other concerns. I haven't actually read either of Skywriter's [Random] fics, but I'm counting on them being excellent when I do.

(he says, in a lame attempt to defend his own use of the random tag on one of his stories)

Oh, yes, and apparently I'm stalking your favorites list now to look for good fics I may not yet know. See, this is what happens when you leave thoughtful reviews.

I didn't really like the fourth wall break, but the actual ending was kind of amusing.

I was expecting it to be Rainbow Dash trying to figure out if Twilight was gay, though. Or the princesses once it got to that point.

Climactic Query

peak importance

Dohohohoho.:pinkiecrazy:

The real and never-answered question is just why Rainbow was curious about this thing in particular.

For some reason, now I can't get the thought of the princesses orgasming in CANTERLOCK out of my head...
