After seeing an amazing display of magic from an old pony visiting Ponyville, Twilight decides to strike up a conversation with him.
Little does she know what she is going to learn about life and that not everything can be discovered from books.

Bah. pay no mind to them.

I will admit, the title is a tad off-putting (meaning, requiring a double take) as the other users have not so tastefully put it, it does bring to mind another thing.
HOWEVER.

It was quite beautifully written. Descriptions, flow....
I loved it. Worth tracking and a thumbs up. Great theme throughout, very tasteful and professionally written. Easily draws you into the setting, and you make it easy to visualize the surroundings.

That didn't occur to me the slightest bit once I decided the name, maybe I'll change it? Who knows.

Hmm, this really caught my attention, I really like stories that writers use to express their thoughts about certain themes, and you really say some interesting things about love in this chapter. I kinda felt like the old unicorn was talking to me, I'm actually like Twilight... even because when I tried to confess my feelings to a girl I liked it ended in disaster
Maybe the writing could be a little better at times, I also spotted a few mistakes, but it's still way above average and the content is really interesting, if the next chapters are as good as this one or better this story might go into my favorites
And if I were you I wouldn't give a buck about those reactions to the title this story previously had, I didn't have any problem with it, but then again the new title is pretty good.
