To be fair to Cadance , Dimmed very nearly killed her. She would have been dead had she not be lucky regrding what she chose to do in her last moments.
Said Cadance also realize that DS doesn't feel any remorse about doing so (even if she got nothing against her and would actually prefer her alive) and got a really bad temper and an axe to grind with some ponies in the room.
Panic really does feel like a normal reaction , even if she still care about "Twillight"

The use of 'mane six' in this chapter and the previous one is both unnecessary and really takes away from the immersion. Other than that, it is indeed a good rewrite of the original story.

Hm, I'll look into other ways that I can describe them as a group without breaking the immersion then. Thank you for pointing that out as it's definitely something that I myself should have thought of, but I suppose I just didn't register it as an issue.
