Do you already plan on writing any other story? Not necessarily a sequel, but I quite liked this one for reasons other than the subject matter so I'm curious what else you might cook up.

I really loved this story for the way you had the three main characters interact- especially Cadence and Shining. I haven't seen her character brought to life so well anywhere else, but you created a tender yet playful pony whose love for everyone really came through- brilliant!

And some of the dialogue made me absolutely crack up... at 2am in a hotel room! The teasing and picking on SA was hilarious, and not mean- you did a great job of balancing sibling and matrimonial needling!

And to echo what some others have written- this is what 'clop' SHOULD be, where the salacious parts are buried (hah!) between heaving mounds (har!) of love, angst, and emotional conflict that gets nicely wrapped up in the end. Good pacing, nice descriptions, and it was obvious you put a lot of thought into the interactions.

I recall you wrote that this story was a real struggle to complete, but I want to say that the effort definitely paid off and is greatly appreciated. The development of this complex, unconventional relationship was a joy to read through!

I tried to make Cadance open-minded and frankly a bit pervy, but deep down a truly loving and caring pony who only wanted the best for Twi and Shine. The "Confessions" chapter was the first part of the story that I wrote. I'm really happy I succeeded. Many of the jokes were tacked on at the end because I couldn't come up with anything else to cut the tension/seriousness of some scenes. Humour is a useful tool and I'll try to make judicious use of it in my future stories.

Writing this whole thing was a struggle, no doubt. I knew exactly what I wanted to happen, but both romance and sex were topics I hadn't written yet, and both are so easy to screw up. And I wanted to do an incestuous threesome, no less! I'd get hits of inspiration while doing random things, but when I'd sit down to write they would be gone and the words I had come up with seemed laughable. Even now, when I look at this story I see tons of flaws and missed opportunities.

I really don't know how I managed to make something so popular, and my fear now is that I will never be able to repeat it; I'll write more stories that I personally love but will get only "meh" from my readers (already happened with Dark Rituals). Could be worse, I guess. As someone already said, I could be poor Sgt. Sprinkles.

That's actually quite strange, seeing as "favourite" is really just the "tracking" feature which makes updates of the story appear on your Dashboard. I just wish a fave voted as automatic upvote; I doubt anyone who faves a story does not intend to imply s/he likes it, and Flitter has hundreds more faves than upvotes

I normally feel comfortable making that call only after a story is finished. I know others use it for tracking, but I don't. It's easy to sort the Read Later list by Last Update Date; I even have a handy link for it: http://www.fimfiction.net/index.php?view=category&search=&order=updated&read_it_later=1

And yes, the more-faves-than-upvotes is a bizarre thing that I'm all too familiar with now...

- Incestuous threesome romance clopfiction.
- First-person fic with an M. Night Shyamalan twist at the end.
- My most "normal" fic which is a half-dark suspense with a twist at the end.

1718975 1719175 I have two completely different and mutually-incompatible ideas for why Twilight would be forced to reveal her relationship to her friends. Both are based on drama! worthy of any soap opera. Both are also lacking any kind of coherent plot right now, and no story can happen until I work it out. I know some authors write "by the seat of their pants" not knowing where their own stories will go as they write. I can't imagine doing that. I need at least an outline and a proper ending in mind before I start writing.

And for the record, if anyone else wants to write a sequel/prequel/whatever to any of my stories, I have absolutely no problem with that.
