The apology by Spike at the end was WAY unnecessary. Spike is 100% justified in his reasons and I strongly recommend you edit it out otherwise, it doesn't feel nearly as fulfilling.

this is a sad story but to be honest i'm not that sad cause he knew what he was doing like most stories I've read like this Spike is basically crazy by the time he try's to kill himself so it almost feels like he's being murdered by someone else but this time he was wasn't crazy he was in his right mind and i think he's right about what he said at the end no matter what Twilight says he's a dragon so even if they started treating him better the way dragons seem to age he would probably be a teenager when the main 6 die from age so yeah what's worse him killing himself now while he knows he's not cared for or having to live for at least a hundred years being alone with out his loved ones which would you pick
