Very good. You gave a short ride through a dark tunnel. I want to brutally murder Book End for being such a monster, and I can't but help feel that he is going to get what is coming to him via "celestial" vengeance.
Or perhaps Shining or Cadance finding out. That may be worse.

(after reading) Okay, this was good. The dark tag tells the story. Something I noticed though: It seems you like told this story for it to be a story, instead making it for the purpose of it being a clopfic. I like this a lot because of that reason.

Very well written - the clop was there and it did what I think it was meant to do - disturb. I most appreciate the bait-and-switch you pull.
By making BE the focal character, the audience expects to sympathize with him on some level, but he quickly becomes a bit of an ass, then actively despicable as he utterly fails to realize what the Crystal Ponies are dealing with. Our realization of just how evil he is keeps coming just a few minutes ahead of Sparkling Red's, leaving us sympathizing with her at each progressively more horrific stage. Honestly, I found myself thinking he WAS going to kill her - but then we get that last horrific reveal, that SR is only the latest in a long string of victims, and that while he's not going to kill her, it's becaus he doesn't think she's worth it.
Book End here really is completely evil, I'd say. I really hope Shining finds out. Before anypony else, and while nopony else is there to stop him.

Twilight Sparkle: Young student of Princess Celestia sent to Crystal Kingdom to avert disaster. Despite the mysterious and fustrating epidemic of amnesia plaguing the city, Twilight and friends remain steadfast, and in a flash of insight, finds (part of) the answer at the local library. And the rest is canon.
Book End: Graduate scholar of Canterlot voluntarily travels to Crystal Kingdom to avert disaster for the sake of personal glory. He never gets Twilights insight to check out the library. Instead, he lets himself get so stressed out that he takes it out on the poor mare he had his last interview with, even raping her.

Damnit. I would have liked a crystal clop, but I don't like rape.
I really liked it.
I had a few issues. I felt like there was some redundancy with the word "inexpert". Come on, you can think of some more ways to describe a clumsy hoofjob
I also wasn't a huge fan of the omnipresent narrative. I felt like it might've worked better with a closer 3rd person that followed only one of the characters. It reads like god wrote it; first you're in his head, then hers, then just describing. I just think it would've been better otherwise.
Of course, that's all nitpicking. It's easily among the best I've read. Certainly better than I can do.

Ah, I had the time to think of it and I finally see what you did there.
The reason we hate the guy so much is not because he is a disgusting rapist. It is because for the first part of the story, he is our pov character.
Frustration is something each of us can identify with to some extent.
So, you put the reader in his shoes and once he is comfortable, switch to the girl's pov to show what a monster he is.
Book End needs to jump in a hole and die!!!!!!! He is an Evil bastard who only cares about himself!!!

Well, this is the first of your stories I haven't thoroughly enjoyed. It's not that I'm totally against rape in fiction (I am reading 120 Days of Blueblood), but all feeling just died. There were just to many apathetic vibes for me to enjoy it. It was an empty villain raping an empty victim, and it only left me feeling like bludgeoning Book End with a spanner until his skull caves in under the might of my brutal attack and the thick paste of his blood and brain oozes out of every crack and split in his shattered cranium.

there were parts that i found sexy, and parts that i found unsexy to this story. I find that if a character in a rape fic is to round or developed, i have too much sympathy, and it's a turnoff. just my opinion
This kinda hurt for me to read. Not that I've experienced such a thing before, it's just that I've felt shattered on the inside multiple times by the same person, so I find it a bit easier to sympathize with Sparkling Red. To be honest, I'd like to see more consensual things from you, regarding the crystal ponies anyway. Rape is something no one should ever have to experience.
I did like the story, but only because of how well written it was, and how it could make me feel so sorry for Red. I want to hold her, give her a warm bath, cry with her and just tell her it'll be okay.
Also, at a few points, it seems like she changes her attitude to where she's enjoying it without being forced to, then to go back to being completely crushed. And at the end, it's left open as to whether or not she died drowning on his cum. I would seriously hope she didn't.
All in all the story was well done but when he raped red I got really pissed
