This is a crossover involving Warhammer 40k, Halo, Mass Effect and MLP, and is also my first fanfic. Comments and reviews are welcome.

I apologize if the exposition was a bit much. This story was originally published on FF.net, and thus many viewers may not know the whole backstory of Trixie or Gilda.
On a side note, this story was also how I told my parents I was a Brony. Fortunately, they were really cool with it, and acctually liked the fic. Granted, they didn't exactly understand what was going on, as they didn't know who anyone was

Granted, he would be up against two godlike alicorns, a literal army of guards, and most importantly, an all-powerful human psyker-god sharing a room with him! Even by Chief's standards of luck, it doesn't look all that favorable.
Either way you dice it, it wouldn't be pretty for anyone involved. 
Not that we should worry about that, of course. Fate has bigger things planned.
I haven't read yet, but let me just say this is the greatest combination of things ever to be conceived of.
Mass Effect 1 is my favorite game besides Kotor 1.

omg. i have never played mass effect, but any fic of medium+ writing quality containing the Emperor of Mankind, and The Master Chief, is immediately faved.(note i quite liked your writing style, the exposition heavy writing is great)

One thing I'm finding rather interesting, at least at this point, is the (possible) lack of interest of the two biggest developments so far; Trixie and Gilda being made royal apprentices, and the friendship of the princesses to the Emperor. I always thought that, besides the Chief of course, that those two would garner the most attention.
Or is that, as cap'n Jack would say, "all a bit superfluous right now?"

as for the friendship with princesses and the Emperor, it was either gonna go really well, or not at all
how the hell are they all gonna react when they(the human vessels) when it is relised that all three forces are human. all i can predict is the 40k response that it will be from negative to exterminatus
spectalcular, well done. I sure do miss the covenant teaming up with the humans, reminds me of the good old days of halo 2.

I'm doing a crossover myself (it gets much more complicated in later installments I'm planning) but I'm editing it right now.
Still, I hope Luna and 'Adam' work things out. They are so cute together.

As for rampancy, there are two factors I'd consider. One, the time difference between Equestria and the haloverse is pretty big; 3: 17 years. Second, Cortana could've put herself in a kind of "standby mode"- sleeping, for lack of a better term, until someone went and found the ship. The idea came from Dinojake's "The Last Spartan", which you can find on FF.net ( I highly recommend it

1) He got it during the battle on the Collector Base. You could consider it a bit of subtle foreshadowing on their side of things.

On a side note, we can all agree that Discord, if he were a real Lord of Change or God of Chaos, was a rather half-assed one. No one got horribly mutated, the whole world wasn't driven mad, and he didn't summon any minions or cultists. If Kairos or Eliphas ever found out about him, they would laugh at how lame he is.

But seriously, You would think this would Shepard and his team an edge, having someone being Genre Savvy to the naitives. Further, you could consider Garrus to be something as an Audience Surragate, giving a unique prepective on the ponie's antics, as well as the actions of the other visitors.

Yeah, it's essentially as you said. The big thing you could say about the worlds shown here is that, because of their connections, they are automatically AU, and not connected to the Prime/baseline worlds.
Each world has some difference: Chief didn't land on Requiem, so Halo 4 is out; there was more than one collector base- and possibly more Reapers- so ME 3 would be significantly harder; the Emperor still being fully functional contradicts most 40k fluff; and of course, with Trixie and Gilda being reaccepted- and the arrival of the spacefarers, Season 3 is completely out the window.
With all that in mind, the future is truly how you make it. Things will change for the humans and their alien allies just as much as will for the ponies.
So it plays the main menu theme song and background when you go there.

Not to disapooint you, but... its gonna be awhile. I'm still in the first story arc, both here and on the other site. The Chief's revival marks the end of that arc, which is about three(ish) chapters away. My apologies, but i must admit i am a slow writer. the chapters i've uploaded so far had been done weeks or months ago. But whem he does show up, you'll be the first to know
