That's exactly it. When I came up with his character 9 months ago, I had no idea black and red was hated so much. I've thought about changing his color, but I feel that would be a cop out.

Earlier, I took the picture off, just to see what would happen. The fic did so much better, thumbs up wise. When I put the art back, 5 dislikes in less than 3 minutes.
Right now, I'm taking splice in the fact my other two fics are over a hundred thumbs up, and less than ten thumbs down.
2023437 I know that feel. Getting close to 300 likes and less than 10 dislikes for one of my stories. It's a great feeling to get featured, so bask in the lime-light as it lasts! I never really made it past the 8th feature slot with any of my fics.
Anyway! I really hope people learn not to judge like that. I can imagine this story would be in a much better state than now, if people weren't so ridiculous.

Thanks for the help, at least it was constructive. It's too late to change is colors, so I'll just bite the bullet and live with this, but I appreciate the color suggestions as well.

Yeah I know what that's like. One of the stories in my Seth Disarmonia series, "More Stories Featuring Seth", has almost the same amount of dislikes as likes, and I don't know what's wrong with it for it to get those, so I assume that it's because of his colors (Black and Purple). I dosen't help that I used a pony creator image for the cover art, because I have no drawing skills, and I don't really have money to pay and artist for cover art. So unless someone makes fan art of the series I'm stuck with the ones I have now.
Yet, strangely the main story, "Spawn of Disharmony", also uses pony creator art, but is better received, so I don't know.
