Based on a true story, probably.

But the ending was ummm nice? :twilightblush::raritycry:
Sad

what:rainbowhuh:

AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!!! That ending! :pinkiegasp: :fluttercry: :rainbowderp: :raritydespair: :twilightoops::applejackconfused:
What a twist! :twistnerd:

Nobody takes the giant pony eating spiders seriously until they're already feasting on you.

Whelp, that happened. For some reason I now have the theme from "Little Shop of Horrors" stuck in my head.

It's a problem that will continue to claim lives if something isn't done.

Lol, wut?

:derpyderp2::rainbowlaugh:

I guess the bonding involves spider silk.

Wow. So much for 'imagination'.

FIRST REACTION:
Okay! Well then...

SECOND REACTION:
LOL imagine if Rarity never came into the room. :rainbowlaugh:

Spiders, truly Lucifer's favorite creation. Of all time. Ever.

When I saw this in my feed, I'd been awfully worried I'd perhaps woken up in an alternate upside-down universe after my nap. (These things happen!)

Thank you for setting my fears to rest. :rainbowkiss:

I had this moment when Rarity was gonna check the shadows, like, "Oh, something might actually be there." Then it calmed. But, as the story got closer to its end, I got more and more suspicious. Then it finally came, and I was like, "Yup." Still somewhat surprised that the whole thing didn't turn out to be a dream of Rarity's, though.

I spotted a minor typo:

I woke up to a loud bagning

Wow, didn't expect that. :twistnerd:

Well...didn't see that one coming :rainbowhuh:

Great story!

Heh. Th-that was an INTERESTING plot (,)twist.

I'll be completely honest; I didn't enjoy this story. It just doesn't know what it's trying to be. Is it a heartwarming fluff-fest with a twisted ending? A satirical parody meant to make you laugh? A trollfic? Or is it a dark, creepy horror fic? I can't seem to tell, which makes the story seem confused and, well, a bit rushed. The part where it all fell to pieces was that ending. The ending made the pacing go kablooey. YES, I know that was what you were aiming for, but there are much better ways to have twist endings without things without kablooeys. There was literally no buildup whatsoever to this ending. When making a story with a huge twist at its climax, it IS possible to use buildup. You pinch in subtle foreshadowing wherever you can put it, making sure a first-time reader wouldn't notice it. Then, after the reader finishes the story, they can look back at all those subtle hints and say, "How didn't I see this coming earlier?!" That's the kind of reaction a fic like this should cause. But there was no such reaction here. With no buildup whatsoever to that ending, not even subtle foreshadowing, we don't feel that we should've seen it coming. There was no possible way we could've seen it coming. This story isn't challenging us to analyze the details better from now on. Its poking fun at us, stomping on our expectations just to pull of a cruel joke...and I don't even know if it's supposed to be a cruel joke because of the confused genre. A reader doesn't like feeling antagonized when they read something. Maybe I'm reading into this too deeply, maybe this IS meant to be a trollfic...but I thought I should let you know that I really enjoy your work, Reg, but this isn't one of your best.

Well, that was unexpected. Kind of reminds me of Nothing Gold Can Stay in that regard when I think about it, which is not a bad thing in the slightest.

Well done Regi.

5104875 That's alright, i just write stories for the reaction. As long as you feel something,e even if it's confused anger, then i did my job

5104913 I was somewhat inspired by that story. The Only is my favorite author in the fandom.

:unsuresweetie:::raritydespair:
Nice twist, have a like

And there was me, poor fool that I was, thinking you might have just written a nice little oneshot. Le sigh. :facehoof: :rainbowlaugh:

5105969 Sometimes I miss you, Regidar. Usually it's because of range increment penalty stacking.
Other times I just roll low.

5113727 sometimes I miss me too

I only have one thing to say.................................................................what the ffffffuuuuuucccccckkkkkk!?!?!?!?:pinkiegasp: but good story though.:twilightsheepish:

“FEED ME,”

cackled for a good 2 minutes.

The wind. Yep. It was definitely just the wind.

There a very minor grammatical error you may want to edit.

When Sweetie Belle resurface from Rarity’s mane, she smiled at her.

That should be "resurfaced".

5654960 thank you, i will fix

Two things:
1. “FEED ME!” I immediately thought of the song Meat on the Table by Jim Johnston

2. :twilightoops: DAMN!

R.I.P. Rarity and Sweetie Belle :applecry::fluttercry::pinkiesad2::raritycry::raritydespair::fluttershbad::fluttershyouch::fluttershysad::unsuresweetie:

What. The. Actual. Freak?!? XD

I came here looking for a cute story and then I GET THIS?? Bloody hell.

something tells me this is inspired by Don't Hug Me, I'm Scared...first, there's the title. Then the fact that it is innocent and leading you to believe it's a fluffy story...and then it brings the hammer down at the end.

Boy that was a twist I didn't see coming. :pinkiegasp:
