Once upon a time, there was a slime mold. This is an OC pony origin story, that starts weird, gets weirder, and ends up fairly Mary Sue. It hasn't really got a plot, I just wrote it for fun. There may be more later, but there also may not, for now it's complete.

Glad you liked it! I think original character Alicorns are sort of automatically Sue. I am thinking about writing more eventualy, but I have some other stories I need to finish first.

That would depend I suppose... For example, if she had straight up god-tier powers that would of course be petty hard for anypony to swallow.
You'll have to handle the fact that she has both (I'm assuming functional,) wings and a horn very carefully. Nothing impossible though...
Anyway, I'll check out those 'other stories' now

This reminds me a bit of an old anime called Dragon Half, where a slime mold becomes a princess.

I don't see this OC as Mary-Sue at all. No more than a changeling mimicking the shape. In fact, this OC is less than the changeling in that at least the changeling can use magic. This pony-slimemold, from what's been told so far, can only feed on magic and contemplate it's existence as the newly minted consciousness develops with a healthy dose of someone else's memories. While it's kinda obvious you've made a backstory for Nightmarity, she's not much different than one of those Mirror Pool clones in essence.
Then again, maybe she's the early progenitor for The Smooze. It's back!
