Fed up with her sister's busy schedule, Sweetie Belle vents her frustrations about Rarity to their parents which prompts a story that leaves the young filly curious. Meanwhile, Rarity, deeply affected by her younger siblings words, goes into a deep reflection about how and why she came to be in Ponyville.

Huh... sounds interesting...

I will put in my read later folder

I'll definitely sign on for the long haul. Apart from nicely anticipating the Element of Generosity, this is one of the few stories I've seen that treats the parents as something more than, you should pardon the expression, cartoon characters.

I haven't started bawling at MLD levels yet. But you're not done yet, either.

:fluttercry:....this is such a good story, I'm hooked and now all I can do is hope that you update soon!

This is absolutely fantastic!
I love stories with Rarity as a filly.
Very touching, very well written,
Please write MOAR!

Congratulations, you have just hooked another reader !

I've read some stories that go in-depth about Rarity and how she became the fabulous fashionista that we know today, but this one is different, because Rarity's and Sweetie Belle's parents play a significant part in the story. As a fellow brony commenter stated, Rarity's and SB's parents are usually depicted for comedic purposes and have very brief cameos (much like their one-time appearance in the show so far). Here, we not only know their names (which by the way, are the names fan-based or did you make them up?) and we see their personalities more.

I can't wait to see what happens in the next chapter. So far, you've given us some insight as to how Rarity became the element of Generosity, if her actions as a filly to keep Sweetie Belle with the family will show!

That cover image is so DAW inducing. :yay:

I look forward to more.

I'm adding this one.

You have my attention. And also my ire for ending the chapter there :raritydespair:

I can't wait to see where this goes.

you got a interesting story
just try to make it less ... well ... just try to make it friendly :applejackunsure:
happy, cute things and hurtful , tear-breaking things in equal measure
don't play to hurt the readers that bad :raritycry:
good luck

Keep writing from the heart and this store will continue to be amazing.

Beautiful story! I look forward to the next chapter.

Please continue. I love a story that can make me cry.

Will there be another chapter?

I cried at this more than I did at My Little Dashie. :raritycry:

So I think I can guess what happened from there, Rarity started sending money from her job as Tyra Flanks' intern so her family could keep Sweetie Belle and it's a promise she keeps to this day by sending all the profits that she doesn't use on Carousel Boutique to her parents so Sweeite Belle can grow up happy and healthy.

About the only question is how Rarity managed to get her current job and workplace. :duck:

Also I don't know if it's just me but even though I haven't clicked the italics key my senteces are being posted in italic, perhaps you forgot to do something?

...Thank you mon ami. That was beautiful. So much passion, so much force and feeling. You, Mah good sir, are un artiste. Keep writing, I'll keep reading.

So Rarity ran away huh, well at least she didn't pull an Applejack with something like "We'll discuss this at breakfast." and then she never comes to breakfast. :pinkiegasp:

I can understand his reaction, being a father myself.

So Rarity ran away. She gave up her magic school money to pursue fashion so she could have a little sister. That is the most generous thing I have ever read before, truly it makes me rethink my opinion of Rarity. 10/10 my good sir.

this story is so addicting, I can't wait to see what happened next!:raritywink:

"Checking to see if you have hay fever, because you must be sick if you think for a second my baby is spending two days in ANY cell" I like her:pinkiehappy:
