Writing this was a challenge for me, I'm not a comedic person, I'm not sure if it was up to par with your sense of humor.
great story. loved the ending
I came for the picture, struggled through the typos and poor punctuation, and found the underlying story, mmm, alright. There were plenty of shenanigans, though sounded like he may have been a bit rude to Cranky. (It's hard to tell what he was singing in text.) Were it truly an episode script, somepony would a) have to write a letter to Mother Solaris (may she live forever), and b) have a reason to write to Her. Knowing his unique sense of humor, it might be something about how one can find humor in the strangest of things.
Alas, words could not do justice to the battle of the bands. Polka's diverse and wacky collection would surely outdo any wubs brought to bear by Vinyl, however!
A revision to dialogue grammar, especially Polka's letter's grammar/punctuation, would really help this story.
"I can't remember, does every speaker get their own line?" said Pinkie. " 'Cause I always talk too fast andmywordsgetallscrunchylikethiscauseimsooexcitedtobetalkingand- "
"Pinkie!" admonished Twilight. "We're just here to give a brief demonstration of dialogue format. Nothing more."
"Aww," whined Pinkie. Suddenly, she cocked her head to the side and asked, "Wow, do I really have to keep telling them who I am?"
"No, Pinkie. Once the two speakers have been established, you can usually stop mentioning their names for a bit."
"Okay! I just don't wanna leave my audience confused."
Twilight rolled her eyes as hard as she possibly could. "Yes, Pinkie, I'm sure that's what's been confusing them."
1552900 some of the plot elements were written by my 12 yo sister. mostly the "bald" song idea. as for grammar, it i not my strong point, not being a native speaker does that often. The letter had never crossed my mind, thought the lesson i was aiming for was that "everypony has an embarrassing family member, but they have good intentions", although it didn't show up as intended.
but alas, this was an experimental story, also my first one shot, I had no plans of writing it at first. i technically wrote it and forgot it.
anyway, thanks for your feed back, i always like hearing what my readers have to say.

this was a story written because i haven't seen it yet, and i'm basically done with it. if you would like to write a similar story by all means go ahead. i would love to see someone else's take on this.
