TMP Prompt #98: Awareness [Drama]

The Prompt: Write a story in a hundred words or less.

The boutique was empty, quiet save for the occasional snip of scissor through fabric.

She considered following her friend

Or... rather… she wished to follow, but something kept her rooted to the spot. She glanced at her legs oddly even as her forehoof strayed unconsciously towards the needed pin cushion.

“Ouch!”

She snapped her hoof back, its fellows instinctively retreating from the source of danger. As she watched, a stray droplet of blood weaved through the strands of white fur and down over her hoof

That had never happened before…

“Rarity?”

She turned to find another friend there.

“Pinkie?”

“We need to talk.”
