Lovecraftian style fic. I wrote it for the Nightmare Night contest but derped and discovered I was a day off and had missed the deadline, so I didn't send it in (it wouldn't have placed at all though).
I I think I did okay. I like the icky descriptions of horrific monsters because I like writing that kind of stuff.
Well. I guess you should... run?
Honestly, if you were going for lovecraftian horror, you should have drawn it out a bit more. It's all about the gradual aspect. Lovecraft never made a character go from sane to insane without an immense amount of introspection and detail on the subject. But I suppose it still has that sort of feel to it. So not bad I suppose. I'd give it a 3.5/5
