"Super special pirate best friend coins!" BEST LINE EVER.

Okay, i give up. This is the best shipping ever. This story may be friendshipping, but Pip and Dinky are the most D'WAAAAA inducing couple in the fandom. YOUR INTERNETS HAVE BEEN DOUBLED!

I'm sure there was a little tiny error somewhere in the spelling and grammar, but if there was, i found none. And that was with my sonic fine-tooth comb.

You, my friend, are a wonderful writer. Just the right amount of detail to give the feel of actually being there, and not so much as to destroy the "Show, don't Tell" chant we reviewers like to use so much. And the story itself... Perfect!

Looking eagerly forward to more!

-The Librarian

This is rather adorable, yes. I rather like the idea of Pipsqueak and Dinky as friends, there. You captured two children well.:twilightsmile:

Oh, hey, you did my request from Deviantart!

if this continues, ur paying for my tombstone....it shall have my cause of death on it. SO MUCH D'AWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!:rainbowkiss::rainbowkiss::rainbowkiss:

I second that!

SO MUCH D'AWWWWWWWWWW!!!!! OMG OMG OMG SOOOOOO CUTEZERS :rainbowkiss::rainbowkiss::rainbowkiss:

Wow, that was abnormal of me... *Ahem!*

That story was quite... DA"WWWWWWW

So cute and innocent
Friendshipping is the best shipping after all :3

Thank you for such a detailed review!
Your words have reassured me that putting the effort into this story was not a waste of time.
Glad you enjoyed it :)

Thanks very much!
Writing as children can be difficult because it's hard to tell what a child would think about different situations, so I'm happy that you found it acceptable :D

Indeed, I liked the result so much I decided to post it here too.

Sorry! I knew I shouldn't have pumped dangerous amounts of D'aww into this story, it's too dangerous to read!

Heh, yeah. I write a lot of shipping and less-than-decent stories, so this was an interesting change of pace. It left me with a warm feeling in my heart writing something so innocent. :)

The d'aww levels are so high that I'm almost to the "HNG!" stage, and that's saying something! Very well done!

Oh my god the cuteness level! It's over 9,000!!!!!!!

This story is beyond adorable and sweet! Pip and Dinky are the two cutest foals ever! I want to commission someone to draw them together and now I know what I want to see them doing when I do! This is one of the cutest stories EVER. Bravo!

Glad you liked it!

If you get someone to draw that, please let me know! It would be amazing :D

I'll be sure to do that!

I started feeling a warm, fuzzy glow in my chest when you talked about the secret that turns trees into ships. At the pirate hug, I was beaming. At the end, my heart exploded in a fiery sphere of solar glory, and the voices of a thousand angels sang hymns of praise to Celestia, who descended from the heavens to take in my poor, battered soul and usher me onto the Great Plains. Or maybe that last part only happened in my head, but that's what it felt like.
So much  for you, Sir. So much .

I...can't...must resist...

So much D'aaaawwwww...

D'awwwwwwwwwww!!!! I have to say that even tho every other comment says it........
But.... just d'awwwwwwwwwwwww!!! :rainbowkiss: :pinkiehappy:

Finally somebody makes something where Pipsqueak and Dinky are friends/mates... It's 'bout time too. So lets read this sucker and... Oh crap.

... Can you do a sequel where they've grown up, both acting a little aloof, but still secretly keep their coins, wishing for the 'good old days' where they could just be best friends, not caring about what everypony else thought, and then ended up getting back together? Or something. Just a thought...

You win. This is an adorable little story, and I had fun reading it.

Another story read and I still don't care.

*nominates Pip x Dinky friendshipness forever for canon*

This feeling in my chest. It feels... odd. What could it be?
Well, whatever it is, I like it.
Alfred! Buy me more of this... happiness.

I always like stories about little fillies. I miss the bliss of being little. :scootangel:

If you could point out the errors so I can fix them that would be great :)

Fantastic, mate. Love it. Nothing else to be said here.

That was an excellent short story. Simple premise, but one that every kid should be able to relate to, all told with a well worded and simple narrative that served to convey just enough information for me to be able to imagine the scenes. I REALLY like the premise. I have a forest out back, behind my house, and I played there most every day when I was a kid, and imagination was the best toy ever.

The simplicity and brevity of the story is what I think makes it so freaking likable and sweet. Two best friends on an 'adventure' in the woods with only their imaginations. It's like you added distilled essence of childhood to this story! It captures that magical feeling of innocence and simplicity which is reflected in the narrative.

I really liked think. I can't point out a flaw worth mention that detracts from the story. Great job.

:rainbowhuh: What can be said about this fic that hasn't been already?
Ah, heck with it. :rainbowkiss::pinkiesad2::twistnerd::raritystarry: and :twilightblush: That was SO CUTE! Best pirate friends forever! :yay::yay::yay:

This is such a sweet story! The friendship between Pipsqueak and Dinky is just adorable, and I really love the way you've brought their imagination to life. The last line was very moving, too. Friendship forever!

I loved it. No matter what I say I'm a big softie at heart. With your permission I'd like to review this one for my next webcast:pinkiehappy:.

Absolutely, feel free :)
I'd love to see it when it's up!

The review is finished sending perhaps another 20 or so views your way

Thank you heaps! I loved the review :)
I totally get what you meant about how you were expecting the story to circle back to the tree segment at the beginning.
Also, have you tried sending an email to EQD letting them know you're doing reviews? They always like advertising for bronies doing that kind of thing.

No but I know what I must do now!

D'aaaaw I love this, it's a perfect example of a good old innocent feel-good fic.

(I sincerely approve this friend-shipping, and when they're older, actual shipping)
