You want a background? Here it is: Carrot Cake(Mr. Cake) had a little brother. His name is PowLiveCake, and he is somewhat... Pessimistic.
He has a friend named Stella(She's a bird.) who's VERY annoying. He wears a certain line of clothing that includes: Blue Jeans, sleeveless tank, beanie and Hipster Glasses.
He leaves the home one day and meets a special pony who catches his eye. (Not gonna tell yet ;o)
He goes out on a few dates with the pony and ends up doing something he's never even thought of before...... He falls in love. Shit is sure to fly.

And it just seems like you threw this together in one sitting.
There's not really any background on anything. We figure out it's a full human AU through tags and after that things are hardly mentioned. aside from the main characters the only reference to how someone looks is their hair.
Yeah. Just seems super rushed and the like.
