This story reminds me of why I like the fact that I haven't had my student credit card capped at $1,000 upgraded to an unlimited credit card. It prevents me from going bat shit insane in Best Buy or on NewEgg.

Great story. The continuous build up of the gift lavishness made me cringe harder. AJ's gift made me uncringe and enjoy the sentiment of Pinkie's actions.

Hmm, thought I'd commented on this a while back, but no. So: I was a bit surprised that this wasn't non-stop manicness. Instead, the central part of the fic is rather sweet. I'd have thought that 'Shy would be able to tell that an eagle was female, but all in all it's a cute tale. You've written better since, but if you're in the mood this is still pretty readable stuff.
