No because Dash being the collective bottom for the ponycule is so real is the thing.

I can never get enough of Raridash "force"feminization - it's such an incredibly obvious concept that it almost feels rote and cliche, but there's just something about it that hits so good!

I think the main thing with it is that its a dynamic we actually see in the show. Rarity using Rainbow as a model is a frequent gag.

Making it a romantic D/s thing just takes what was already canon and just re-contextualizes and expands it.
