Normally, this would've also involved an elaborate story arc where Sunset becomes gratuitously overpowered and attains a rank of high status within the kingdom. But she'd already fulfilled those requirements by being Celestia's student before heading through the mirror the first time, so the narrative short-circuited.

Rare to see an Isekai on here where the protagonist isn’t named something like Paxton Gladio, a twentysomething year old man who gets to fuck a nonzero number of the ponies while attaining his destiny and also he’s Price from Call of Duty or something.

And afterwards, Sunset returned-- after escaping the surprisingly successful hug-ambush (forewarned isn't always entirely prepared, after all)-- to her small, but cozy and blessedly truck free apartment to find a young man inside. With a sort of package.
"Um. Sorry, you were supposed to have this... I mean, I don't think it's needed now, I looked at the other place and well, it's pretty darn secure, but... look, it's late, but it's yours, and we can't have it lying around unclaimed. Bye." Upon which he shimmered for a moment and then vanished.
Sunset looked at the elongated bundle for a moment, shrugged and opened it. And blinked.
What am I supposed to do with a sword, anyway? I quit the fencing club last month.
