Why isn't there a dark tag?
About the cover... I like it, a lot, it would be better if it was made by an experienced artist, but the one you designed with AI is quite good, especially the design of the characters, much more refreshing than all the other covers that are the same....
Yes, I know they are the same characters, but giving a personal touch to the designs makes them much better, in my opinion
Hmm. So far I'm only maybe a couple thousand words into the story, and so far it's interesting how the style is different from most fimfics. A somewhat higher reading level (and writing level), a slightly more formal style, a somewhat different texture, a feel of a science fiction future that might turn out to be a bit cyberpunk or just a bit run down. Characters who haven't even yet met, but who are...themselves, in their own ways. A writer who, when a character herself might know, for some reason knows what an injured intercostal muscle is.
I am already following/tracking this story, curious to see if my decision will pay off.

Hell, you nailed the genre on the head there. After reading William Gibson's entire library, several long-winded Niel Stephenson novels, and plenty of P. K. Dick, yeah, you called it right on the money.
