You've been waiting to post this one, didn't you?

Celestia ascending to horse heaven I’m if she was supposed to be pony Jesus plz tell me she did not have and I quote “ nail pierced hooves” I’m not how I feel about best princess dying for my sins and resurrection

I finished it shortly after Francis passed, so not that long. I did hold off for a couple weeks though for this moment.

"But this is... well, it's a political matter, so I have to bow to the will of the Horse College of Horse Cardinals."

No notes.

A dove alights on an olive branch outside of the throne room, barely visible through a stained-glass window depicting Horse Princess Celestia ascending into the Horse Kingdom of Heaven.

Some notes.

The Hanging Gardens of Horse Babylon. The Great Wall of Horse China. The Colossus at Horse Rhodes.

An increasing number of notes.

Topical, yet timeless. At least in the sense of these two being adorable dorks together. Thank you for a delightful horse-read.

Somehow this is both adorable and disturbing. I love it

I'm jealous. You got a huge spam comment trying to sell you a scam. I want a huge scam comment. :applecry:

(Congrats on the feature box, you deserve it. It's a good story)

At first I thought this was meant to be a sequel to Passion and/or The Kingdom of Heaven at first glance, and then...

Horse Pope Sixtus used her magic to slam the door shut the moment Rainbow made her exit, then practically flew down the steps to embrace her charge. "Rarity!" She quickly undid her bonds, peppering kisses along her cheek the entire time. "I missed you so much."

Chef's kiss. Sequel or not. :raritystarry:

I’ve promised to write a sequel to Passion for the next conclave.

Dang, two of the first six comments are spam. This is the second time this evening that I've seen an "I want to collaborate with you" spam comment. Those really seem to be spreading like wildfire lately. (I briefly had one of those "I love your story and want to make an illustrated comic of it" spams on my user page, and I don't even have any stories.)

As for the story, I really like it. It's funny that I assumed that "Horse Pope Sixtus" was Twilight before it was revealed.

The cover art is beautiful.

So a Pony version of The Agony and the Ecstasy.

I appreciate the fact that Horse Milton was a horseretic. It's a nice touch of horsestorical accuracy.

Great story! If anything, I'm surprised that it feels normal compared to how deranged your other religious stories can get, lol. It's always fun when you have characters utilize grand societal constructs for petty interpersonal things.

I horse-love the gratuitous use of horse everywhere.
