Anyways, my idea was for the ponies to sing fluffy poppy bubble gum music, and I was getting the feeling that you were going in that direction.

Because that gives me the 'My Little Pony' vibe.
But you went with an emo group. That's cool, but seriously seems like an out of left field choice (w.r.t ponies).
I wish I liked that song choice. But it's not my thing, sorry, although some parts seemed interesting. {Musically, I'm waaaaaaaaaaay less into emo and waaaaaaaaaaay more into powerpop: Hit the Lights, Locksley, Rooney, OK Go, The Bigger Lights, Cartel, Killjoys-era My Chemical Romance, etc).

It's not emo music, it's just post hardcore. And I liked the imagination of them playing it. I like to taking steps away from the norm when it comes to fimfic. I thought it would be epic to imagine them singing that hard on stage.

It's fine, I knew from the start it wasn't everyones favorite idea. But I didn't like the fact of them singing like innocent cute and fluffy songs. It's just to much for me, I really want to show a harder side to the characters, it just doesn't feel as lively and too cliche. Too many people do the same thing, but I'm not hating on anyone I love most of the FiMFics out there.

(No homo if your male) This was seriously spot on, a friend of mine is getting me into rock and hard cord or something but since I been into Hip-hop all my life it's a bit to get used to, none the less I'm so glad that not everyone wants Equestria to be all sunshines and rainbows I mean sure...that's what it is mainly about but you give a much...darker edge to the show itself which I really love, you manage to bring a more....real view to the loveable, perfect butterfiles and shit characters and give them a darker view (at least thaty's how it is in my eyes)
Am I the only one who sees a darker side to the Mane Six during the episodes Return of Harmony part one and two or were those dark, evil and cruel dark halves of the six just something that does not seem like it could be created but was and just left to rot and never be brought up again and never be given the chance to bring fourth six new enemies?
Sorry, it's 3:30 A.M. here and I'm still up...but serously you gave me hope that not everything in MLP has to just be romance or mindless slaughter or even killing one's self (which I like....harsh but I'm a very dark person)

It's my favorite kind of music, has been for a long time. Just gets me so pumped and so energetic. I was just at the Pierce The Veil, Sleeping With Sirens, Tonight Alive and Hands like Houses concert last night. Was fucking amazing.
