Gaismagorm threw a giant boulder at the four changelings who entered the hive just in time to be safe from the attack of the elder dragon. Gaismagorm roared angrily, but after a couple of seconds, he ended up sighing, thinking that was it.
Then he heard it—the sound of bee-like buzzing that took his attention. It was hundreds of changelings flying out of the hive and toward his direction. His memories about past experiences dealing with angry swarms (some idiot dropping his sugar-filled drink into the middle of the gym, attracting a swarm of bees) and the memory of a bee stinger getting stuck between his flesh and his nail like an ingrown nail told him to run. But the fact he was an angry dragon now prompted him to fight back—and so he did!
Luckily, he could fight fire with fire now. He roared, making the Qurio pour out of his maw. He glared at the changelings and commanded a single thing: “KILL!”
The green and red swarm clashed in the sky. The changelings were better fighters, but the Qurio had one advantage over them—their numbers and savage offensive.
Gaismagorm was a particularly great host, aiding the Qurio to grow and focusing on wasting the least energy possible, preferring to use his raw strength to hunt weak but filling targets that helped the Qurio grow both in number and in strength.
And also, the goddamn leeches latched onto the changelings, and both fell to the ground—the changeling getting greatly injured or completely taking the fall (becoming green stains on the floor)—while the Qurio landed safely to fly back to the battle.
Gaismagorm aided his troops by ripping large chunks of the ground and throwing them at the swarm of changelings. He might not have hit many, but he was doing his best to act as support for the Qurio.
Then he realized something: the bugs were focusing on the Qurio, which meant he could act as a battering ram and—
“LEEROY!!!” roared Gaismagorm as he rushed toward the hive. The elder dragon ripped off a pair of pillars and started climbing the hive, punching it every chance he had.
Some changelings noticed this and tried attacking Gaismagorm, but the Qurio aided their host by attacking the changelings, tackling the equine bugs so they couldn’t get close to the elder dragon.
Gaismagorm roared and smashed through the hive with his fist, breaking through it and—he stopped. He felt like he had just touched something slimy and slowly pulled his fist from the hole. His fist was covered with a disgusting green slime.
“GUACATELA! What even is this?” asked Gaismagorm as he cleaned his hand on the side of the mountain.
“HE JUST CRUSHED THE CHAMBER OF THE EGGS!!!” shouted a changeling that got tackled by a Qurio.
Gaismagorm turned, thinking he heard something, but he ignored it and kept climbing.
At the top of the hive, he ripped the ceiling off, seeing what he thought looked like some type of throne room. Gaismagorm climbed it in hopes of finding a giant queen he could drain out of spite.
So instead of his planned act of spite, he stood on top of the mountain, standing on his hind legs, and started sucking up, creating a vortex that sucked up both changeling and Qurio alike. However, some changelings survived, and he shot a giant blast of Qurio at the sky, which exploded so dramatically that the rain of explosive crystals that followed was nothing but expected.
The sky turned red, and the landscape burned in a sea of flame made by the raging elder dragon, and the changelings who were fighting either ran or died.
He roared victoriously at the sky as the Qurio were deployed again to get rid of the survivors inside the halls, with the tunnels of the hive becoming a nightmarish landscape covered with the smell of blood.
The love-eaters had met an army that drained the life out of their victims, and they were terrified—since without their queen or the rest of their army, they were no challenge to the Archdemon of the Abyss.
“NOBODY THROWS ROCKS AT ME!!! NOBODY!!!” he shouted as he picked up the Changeling throne, ripped it in half, and threw it into the sea of flames.
It was nighttime, and Celestia felt… tired, more than she usually did at night. Her appetite had been a nightmare, as she had actually eaten a bit more than usual, yet she was just as hungry. Luckily, she hadn’t gained any weight, but it felt… wrong.
At least she was able to hide it until she went to bed, tired and kinda sick but unable to hide it anymore.
Maybe all she needed was some good sleep—
Celestia couldn’t exactly remember where the cake in front of her came from, or where she was exactly. She thought the sleep deprivation (even if she had slept soundly all previous nights) was getting to her—
“Princess Celestia!” shouted Twilight, making Celestia regain her senses.
“Oh, Twilight, where did you…” Celestia trailed off as she noticed the plates around her piling up. She had been eating for how long? Yet she only felt as if it had been literal minutes since she entered the dining room.
“Are you okay, Princess? You’ve been acting kinda strange since we came back from Ponyville…” mentioned Twilight as Celestia blinked a couple of times. Is it that obvious? asked Celestia to herself.
“Oh, please don’t worry yourself. It’s just that I’ve been…” Celestia paused as she tried to think of what was causing her strange behavior, “a bit hungry as of lately… nothing a good night of sleep can’t fix,” said Celestia as she walked out of the room. “Good night, my little pony.”
Despite her princess's assurance, Twilight wasn’t sure of her word… yet she chose to trust her and walked away.
Maybe they just needed to sleep.
Oh no, Celestia is infected.
in theory, if you think about it, only Discord can turn the hopelessness of a situation into a happy ending.
he can hardly die from sucking blood. The series literally showed us that he doesn't care even about the complete disintegration of the entire body. He just continued to cast spells and pester Starlight in the form of a ghost.
although I have a feeling that in this story the character who is able to solve all problems with a click greatly interferes with the development of the plot and most likely just hasn’t become friends with Fluttershy yet and is still imprisoned in stone.

Hit the nail in the head
Only a reality warper like him would be able to make a stable environment for an elder dragon like Gaismagorm. That’s why the story starts a couple of episodes (right after magic duel but before the following ones) before Discord gets freed from stone, since like I said in the previous notes, he can snap his fingers and make enough food for Gaismagorm and the Qurio. And being Most likely being able to fix all the damage caused by the Qurio and Gaismagorm
