Welcome to the sequel. This will be a more free-and-easy sequence of peeks into Sip and Cirrus developing their relationship, now that they’ve actually admitted they have one.
This time I’m working with a buffer, so I have about 26k more words at least in first-draft state already. I’ll be releasing them at a slow pace that should give me a chance to keep the buffer filled. We’ll see how well that works out.
Since the first chapter here is fairly short, expect the next one already at April 30.

Very early in Dominant Creed's publication history, someone anxiously opined that Sip did not deserve to be stuck in a dead-end burger-flipping job forever. Unfortunately I don't remember who or where -- it doesn't seem to have been among the comments here on Fimfiction -- but whoever you were, if you're still out there, this is written with you in mind.
Okay, so Chapter 8 ¾ isn't quite canon after all: Dewpoint didn't come clean to Cirrus right away.
I didn't really want to make this real for the main fic, since I wanted to avoid the "absolutely everypony in Equestria are members of this secret society" trope. But here in the sequel I'm playing by somewhat looser rules.
Why isn't there an anthology tag?

Because, as it turns out, the chapters ended up depending on each other after all.
Originally I did think this would be more like an anthology of separate moments in their relationship -- but when I started writing, there turned out to be order dependencies between them. The meet-the-parents chapter will be more focused if he's already got a promotion offer. The promotion offer will be more organically motivated if it comes after the Baltimare outing. Etc. etc.
The next two chapters will in turn be fairly closely tied to the current one. After that, a new mini-arc might start, but if my current plans hold, even that will end up having some callbacks to this one.
So it's probably best to think of this fic as "just a story", where I'm pantsing it just a bit and not getting all worked up about whether I can see an ending that everything builds up to.

Early in the development I did try to write out what it would be like if the breeding program were real. That turned out very dark and way too dubcon for the Clocktower Socitety ...
