He usually relied on her for his health-related needs, but with her being busy with work, he needed to find his own way to get better and fast. Maybe he could go to the place where she worked and see if anypony else knew about his species? Heck, maybe he'll even run into her at the clinic or maybe he gets lucky and one of the doctors there fixes him up in a jiffy.
