Everyone knows the Rainbooms and their marvelous adventures, but few recognize the happenings in the background.
Especially, those involved with Flash Sentry. Despite believing to be remarkably unremarkable, a god had different plans for him.
One night, Flash met two aliens, one with feline anger issues and another with stupid secrets of the cosmos, whose crash landing ultimately killed him. His life became stranger after that, as the absurd and abstract leaked into his world—it fell upon him and these two weirdos to plug those leaks. Every musician who dies young has a story to tell and it was time for Flash to tell his.
Even if his fate was to remain in the background while everything kept stabbing him with one catastrophe after another. A story that might never be told. Truly an average experience for a nobody like him.
Seems like an interesting concept, Flash going from someone in the background to something different. Wonder if those dreams of hus really did have a meaning or warning...

The description of the story is quite interesting, and my compliments for the edit of the cover image and the title. When I read the description for a moment it reminded me of a series called "Martin Mystery".
That could mean several things from my point of view: Flash is an anomaly, his existence is a mistake in the "Matrix"... or the universe simply hates him.
So far the story is interesting but I have a few minor criticisms (I hope I'm not bothering you, it's just my point of view):
The story is well written and I feel that the dialogues are quite interesting.
I feel like you're bombarding some dialogues with too much randomness, I don't know if I'm explaining myself well. I understand that that's the purpose of the story and you even mention it in the description, but at times that makes me have to stop and re-read a paragraph to see if I read it correctly.
As for the characters of Hugo and Craz, did you take any reference or are they characters that you created entirely?

Thank you so much for commenting! And yeah, that was my biggest fear for the story. I was aiming for the weirdness and zaniness that you would expect from Grant Morrison's Doom Patrol or Adventure Time, not the "LOL Randomness" you would expect from BoBoBo-BoBo-BoBo-Bo (a series I love but not for its depth). Hugo and Craz have experience and a large history with the strange, and I wanted to express that through dialogue. I can understand it being a bit too overwhelming so I'll try to relax it.
As for those two, they were childhood creations of mine that I had since I was a kid. I always imagined original stories with them, going on silly adventures and overcoming their personal drama. Originally Craz had a biomechanical dog with a gun strapped to its back, lol. Hugo was a much earlier creation though, inspired by this Gorillaz drawing.
You can compare them to Sam & Max only more aware of situations having higher stakes and drama.

I see, so they are 100% OC, quite interesting because of how unique each of them is, good luck developing their backstories. And I personally used "Gintama" as a reference, if I read a chapter of any story and it turns out that the chapter is more random than any of "Gintama"... that tells me a lot about it XD
Hmm. Something tells me the aliens aren't out to kill Flash, since they gave him that syrup to heal him. I also wonder if they actually killed Cranky Doodle or if they just erased his memory. And they probably do want that record back from Flash, for whatever reason (if I had to guess). This is pretty interesting.
Neat to learn a bit more about these characters, and that they're father and son! It's also a relief they didn't kill that teacher and they weren't looking to harm Flash, which I suspected was the case.
Oh good, so I wasn't the only one who was thinking that.
Dunno if that was actually the word you meant to use, but contextually, I think it works well for the general mood of the moment.
Oh, man, she's a Terminator!? Or something similar, I suppose. Was not expecting that. Now I'm wondering if she's always been this, or if the real Cheerilee was replaced at some point...

Oooh, so Terminator Cheerilee is self-repairing and hunting them down again...chilling. Now I'm very curious who created her, even if we've learned her purpose is to protect the school and students.
Neat to learn more about the multiverse, and to see Craz and Flash bonding a little bit.
So the extensive Equestrian library is under the Rich home...I wonder if they know about it, or if it's a mystery to them, too? And whether they know about it or not, how could they be connected to it and everything going on? Hmm.
